through experience with sleep paralysis i have come to the conclusion that humans are not entirely, human, like we normally visualize them...like, a demon, is the same as a human, just a human, with lets say, claws instead of fingers...like a part human part animal...anybody have any ideas on this theory, or any specific human/creatures that theyve encountered
it's interesting you bring up SP and demons. i experience this quite often, and always feel like something extremely threatening is in the room, holding me down. this has led me to fight my way out of my body on a few occasions out of pure fear. if you don't mind, i'd like to hear more about your experiences and why you bring up demons.
I think your both insane. But who knows maybe i'm a demon. Everyone says i look like a dead serial killer from outerspace. But i don't mind, do that dance. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
Desert--I wanna see your pic, that sounds hot! And yeah, deamons are personified to resemble humans because its hard for us to imagine a being very different yet more intelligent/omnipotent than us. Hence the reason aliens are made to look like short green humans with big eyes. Hey wait...I have big eyes...
My pic should be in my profile somewhere. Btw way i've always thought about what you mentioned below especially as an artist, and i couldn't agree with you more. I've always in my art tryed to draw creature that looked alive but didn't resimble any animal that i've ever seen before. Its hard to go too far out there though. Now if you'll excuse me i'm going to set here and enjoy my deliciously refined high quality H2O.
mmm, water... well ive experienced a number of different beings during sp... as a very young child i used to see wat seemed like a mere man, in a very dark cloak, this one is usually accomponied by flashing colored lights, darkness, and maniacal laughing the first of my more recent sp episodes, was a young woman, who simply smiled at me and layed across my chest..i say women but i merely got a feminine feeling from her ive seen the floating head, which is a dude with a beard, a disembodied head floating above my chest...he kinda shimmered, with many colors the being i experience the most is "the old hag"...although i know one "old hag" who is actually quite young... she usually has claws instead of hands, oddly enogh the young "hag" i see is someone i know, or met, quite some time ago... im wondering wether sleep paralysis and the beings seen are mere humans astral projecting, who are just very competant on the astral plane
"demon" is a prejorative for a nontangable being who does not share or support your system of belief. human bodys, we ARE animals. we're certainly not vegetables or minerals, and as to any suposed superiority to other species, the only concrete evidence of this is the artifacts we surround ourselves with, largely as a consiquence of our inate drive to express ourselves creatively. i'm affraid i don't see any connection between this and the experience of sleep parallasys. something i had a lot of as a child, i think due to anxiety and stress of being a child, dependent on the not entirely predictable authority of parents. though also perhapse some medical condition of my childhood that went undetected and eventualy 'cured' itself. =^^= .../\...
and if u have no system of belief? in my experience the entitities encountered during sleep paralysis r not merely projections of our subconcious, i see evidence that they r concious beings... i agree with u that for the most part we are no better than animals, we share the natural self protective traits of fear and self preservation...but we also have the ability to rise above, and choose to act without concern for ourselves or preservation of our species, which is a clear difference between us and them
i'm sorry but you've been misled by very vested propiganda if you believe other species lack these 'higher' qualities you mention. there is in fact no such "clear difference" whatsoever at all. as for entities not being self projections; sure. it is the prejorative labeling of them i was objecting to. in my many experiences of sleep paralysis as a child, only on one occasion where there any 'entities' invloved. this was after watching some kind of skiffy-horror kind of thing on the idiot box back in the 50s. well i can tell it was quite a trip. what happened. kind of like the same sort of thing people who claim to be ufo abductees discribe. except as near as i can tell, i wasn't teleported anywhere but rather the room that i was in was somehow itself transformed. yes i have little doubt there are all sorts of things about which we know nothing. it IS a big universe out there. it's just that there is no good reason to use belief as a crutch to deny that what we don't know, we simply don't know. at least there is no sense made to me by doing so. =^^= .../\...
