Hurricane Rita

Damn. Everyone is going kind of crazy down here. Galveston is having a manditory evacuation. Hopfully people are just overreacting, but if Houston has to be rebuilt, then it looks like this is the beginning of the end for America.

 

nah. i just think god is hoping to keep the saints and the texas teams outta the running....

 

Well, shit, my friend just called and said that they just evacuated the University of Houston campus. No classes until next Monday.

 

Rita is going to Bush home town . I bet you there wont be a natural disaster response problem at all.

 

I feel sorry for the people that planend to go to the ACL fest ...... that is this weekend too, in austin. it will be very wet and windy

 

but, this is another hurricane in which I will feel the after affects of, most probably...... its supposed to trek up here to kansas........ I had the after affects of katrina when she went up through tennessee......

I think it blows to be an evacuee from New Orleans who came to Houston, just to have another hurricane fuck shit up.

 

Dont woory this is Bush town they well be serve caviar and fine wines . on thing you cant do is make the republicans look bad in theyr own town not even Rita can do it.

 

I listened to the mayor or somebody.. today. Telling people what they should do.. I did not understand a word of it.. confused the hell out of me.. Don't these people [before they utter words] write things down for clarity ?

in the "tear down this wall mr. kruschev" speech kennedy ended it with the phrase ich bin ein berliner (sp?) but the way he pronounced it he said "I am a sort of pastry made in berlin" instead of saying "I am a resident of berlin" as he had meant

george bush on the other hand having once been the govenor of texas took several oppurtunities to excercise his spanish speaking skills toward the end of campaigning, speaks it impeccably..... it's spooky, s.o.b. speaks spanish better than he speaks english......
