A couple of years ago I said it was OK for someone on hipforums to try out voodoo on me (I can't find the post),and I have been having horrific luck in the last few years since then. My luck improved a month or two after I got a unhexing grisgris bag but then I got rid of it (I figured it had done its job) and now my lucks turned really bad again and is going down hill. Any advice?
Mind over matter. Stop being superstitious and look for the real causal factors of your 'bad luck' I ain't saying voodoo isn't real. I'm just saying that, what some random chick is practicing over the interweb isn't. You're perfectly fine.
you need to walk to the closest source of flowing water near you (could be a drainage ditch, could be a man-made lake, could be the ocean, doesn't matter) take three pennies. count three blessings and throw the first penny in (three things that are good in your life. even if it's the fact that you have warm clothes, fresh food, and most if not all your limbs). count three positive influences in your life and throw the second one in (could be people, ideas, animals, video games, music, whatever makes you a better person). and finally think of one way you could make yourself better and throw the third one in (something you can actually do, like spend more time with your loved ones, be kinder to strangers, give money to those less fortunate. don't pick 'become president' or 'get married' unless there is a real chance you will be either by the end of the week). you need to do this on a regular basis, preferably twice a week. it doesn't matter what time of day, but use common sense (don't walk down to a dock at three am).
Well he is kind of right, if you believe in something, psychologically you can make it happen, or make it appear worse/ something it isnt. Thoughts and belief have a lot to with how we create our reality.
But they aren't the core....how powerless do people believe things to be? and what kind of anthropocentric attitude is it that believes that one can make something completly unexist just by believing or not! It is not so simple and clean as all that.
I didn't say that belief is the only thing! I'm saying it helps the way you view or do things - which it does! Believing in voodoo is similar to believing in god - you do, you don't or you aren't sure. If you believe that no one can tell you otherwise and if you don't then no one can make you believe. It's like positive thinking and attitudes when you are ill have shown to have a good effect on recovery, just as negative, defeatist attitudes can have a detrimental effect.
Yes...but regardless of whether you don't believe in god, or wyrd or anything for that matter, doesn't lessen its affect upon you. But it is a loophole.. Atheists say there are no deities. They think they are unaffected by what they don't believe in, but in reality, what they don't believe in is based on a long time chain of misinformation. Therefore, their unbelief is based on something that never existed to begin with. In doing so, they never know the wisdom and truth of the things that their misinformed antithesis covered up. With that said...not believing in voodoo (which means spirit btw) doesn't lessen its affects, because the thing that you don't believe in isn't the thing that really is.
That said.... if you don't believe in voodoo anythng negative that may happen will not be put down as voodoo, perhaps just unfortunate. As as if you don't believe in god, you won't out all the good/ bad things that happen down to him. It is all a matter of opinion. If you believ in it - it is real. If you don't - then it doesn't exist.
So if i believe it does and you believe it doesn't, does it exist? besides...what you said is what you would attribute it to, has nothing to do with its existence. If I cursed you, you might think it is "just bad luck", but it isn't bad luck, because you were cursed. Believe it or not! The layers of Wyrd work in that if it happened then it exists....If you have "just bad luck" after I cursed your luck away, did your luck just go away? or was it my curse that I spoke into manifestation? I couldn't care if you called it bad luck, or jesus being mad at you, or whatever...but the fact is that you were cursed. Don't believe in it...just makes it all the easier for me to do. Your argument is flawed, anthropocentric, naive, and ignorantly modernist western.
Fair enough heron, when it comes to magic vs belief in general...but tell me, do you really think the person who contacted the OP(a stranger) to practice voodoo on, over the interweb was skilled enough to be responsible for what the OP thinks is a curse?
In regards to the OP, i don't think the person does voodoo...anyone other than a pretender wouldn't ask...I have never asked if someone would like me to do bane work on them...but, the web of wyrd is far larger than the internet...so yes...you could curse someone far away...but bodies of water usually have an effect on the outcome...to the extent of stopping energies...BUT to shake the web is to cause a ripple that can span the manifest universe...so yes...one could "curse" over distances...but usually helps to have something of the persons...otherwise it is no more than just words...but even they have might.
So wha makes you right and everyone else wrong? Alot of your posts seem to say the same thing, that what you say is correct and everyone else has it wrong!
Well, I'm a Christian Mystic and I would say pray about it. But you're not going to listen to that, so I'm going to say get a Crystal Skull.
If you argue with your history teacher...and he is right, then you are wrong....my point is, i am an authority on the subject (witchcraft in general), you aren't...you spout opinion, i spout lore and knowledge...she asked about voodoo, and people who know nothing of the subject other than that they don't believe in it spoke up....why even give advice? Obviously she believes in it..so your point is moot... so she needed the advice of a professional...not a liberal modernist westerner who thinks they can unbelieve things just because they can....that a 6 years olds argument...So...I am right...because I am the one who knows about the subject...so go to a peace rally, and leave the mystic discussions to those who practice them. Besides, why would I say something that I didn't believe to be true? of course I speaks as though I am correct and others are wrong...would be idiotic otherwise.
If the crystal skull doesn't work ( ) then take a glass bottle, put multiple colored threads into it (the more tangled the better), cork it, wax it, and bury it in your yard, and speak an unbinding....and also, anytime you want to block negative energy from you, spit in its direction.
