of biochemistry. i just passed my oral examination like an hour ago. some of you might know that i'm going to grad school for my Ph.D. along the way, in your 3rd year of study, you take a qualifying examination which officially puts you in the Ph.D. program and awards you with a master's degree. so i'm pumped, and i thought i'd let my buddies in the synthetic forum know...not to dispute what i say about science, because i'm a fuckin master!:sunny:
I thought you should know that "oral examination" made me smirk. As you can tell, I'm not in grad school for a Phd. Congratulation man
Congrats Pork! Dont stop man get as much education as possible. Remember we are only on this dirtball called earth for a few spins. So make everyone one of them count
Congratulations porkstock41! That's a lot of hard work (with more to come) and worthy of shouting about. Great job bro and keep up the great work! We need more enlightened psychonauts working in the hard and soft sciences!
congratulations pork this seems to be a good year for you! soak it all in man biochemistry is a very interesting subject.
spiceycat, by hard or soft (there's another one for you lunarverse) sciences, do you mean related to drugs and not related to drugs, respectively? my friends in lab and i joke about some pretty immature stuff... sounds good. THANKS everyone. you guys rock:2thumbsup:
No i meant it just as i said it. I personally define hard science as physics, chemistry, computers, biosciences and soft science as social sciences such as psychology, sociology, philosophy, anthropology, etc. Honestly, for possibly the first time this year, i wasn't thinking of drugs!
writer, what's your degree gonna be in again? maybe you could be my lab tech someday:sultan: what picture? i figured it was implied. but you're still a douche
