I have at very little works and only for very short times, which is a problem.

Another problem is my age, which is 30. If I was young, the first condition would not be a problem.

If I was younger, I would have much higher chances.

If I had much more experinces, I would have much higher chances.

Each of both would make it easier.

If you are as old as 30, you must have much experience. Otherwise, you must be young. These are the rules.

I am very close to graduating from university due to the online exams during corona time

I apply institutional jobs only. Because at jobs which are not institutional, they don't even pay you. You just depend on the pleasure of the boss.

I did that mistake before and I worked for free, only for the pleasure of the boss. So...only institutional jobs, where I won't be depend on the pleasure of the boss.

I don't have the intention of working for free for the pleasures of the bosses.

I worked in 2 instituninal jobs and I worked for 2 months in both.

One was at the age of 27, the other was at the age of 28.

The first one had happened with the backer, otherwise I was not gonna be accepted. The second one happened without the backer. The manager of the burger king had the worker problem and settled down for any person.

I gave up the first one after the death of my mother. As for the second one, which was Burger King, it was terrrible to work in Burger King. Not only the crowded customers, which makes it so different to work at Burger King but also I had problem with some workers, one of who wanted to beat me up after our shifts were over.

Burger King seems to accept all kinds of people. That may be why I got the job easy.

Perhaps you should lower your expectations by working a menial job which has some upward mobility if you work hard enough and show promise.

For jobs which are not instituninal, the boss does not even pay you.

Working for free is not lowering your standards.

At jobs which are not instituninal, they dont make insurance, which means you are offically not working when you are working. If the boss does not pay you, there is nothing you can do. You depend on the pleasure of the boss.

Burger King was an institunial job but that was so hard. I couldn't make it. We all know how hard it is to work at Burger King.

Like it was not enough, a worker wanted to beat me up.. I had serious problems with 2 workers, which also took a role in me giving up but the job was also so difficult for me.

I heard one of the two I had problems with hit an other new worker at the job, and fired from the work after I had given up.

That psyhco worked at burger king for over a year. And he was 19.

I would laugh at anyone who calls a 19 year old suburb boy a kid.

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

You really showed some initiative working at Burger King

Were you a cleaner, a fry-cook, or did you take on the most difficult, and may I add, the most prestigious task of working behind the counter as a cashier?

Both a fry cook and cleaner.

After customer hours are over, everybody is a cleaner inculuding supervisers.

I didn't do the cashier thing. So I was a fry cook and cleaner.

Even the lowest rank manager, which is the shift manager does errand things at Burger King.

The real manager at Burger King is the restaurant manager. Restaurant manager is big, Shift manager is small.

Restaurant manager was sitting in his ass, shift managers were working like workers.

Now that you understand the internal politics of the organization, it’s time for you take over the reins and apply for the position of manager.

My point is, shift manager is working like workers, therefore they are just workers responsible of the other workers which have lower ranks than them. They are called managers but they are workers.

Restaurant manager is the actual manager. Unless you are the restaurant manager, you are nothing but a worker at Burger King :)

There are too many shift managers at Burger King but very little restaurant managers.

I wouldn't be a restaurant manager at burger king even if I had worked all my life at burger king. Lol.

There is no problem in aiming high - though like many things in life - one must be realistic that life is hard and sometimes it's like knitting Fog
Persistence is never futile, however - have faith.

you live in a statistical universe. all you can do is improve the odds.
not that you can count on anything anyway, but you really can't expect anything unless you do.

This is not a fluke of capatalism... it is a feature. Capitalism is built such that each company gets more and more advanced so the standards required to work there become higher and higher, eventually only robots will be most of the workforce.

I have been reading up on Communist doctrines lately, and although I am not a Communist, some of it makes sense.

It's meant to make sense to lure you in. You become just another peasant fed scraps while the ruling class gets rich beyond their widest dreams. Of course they're gonna make it sound good! If you're having trouble making up your mind take a trip to Cuba and spend a month. Ask a lot of questions. Look at how little gets done. If you prefer that life, there's bound to be some process for immigrating.

I thought you were returning to University????

  18. You are not old. 30 is young. Take what experience you have that you have done well and use that as your future strength. I however my friend am over 60 and I know your frustrations. I went through three well paying jobs in my last ten years of being employed. Two during the last year of my employment. I know how cruel and demanding the job market can be. Don't let them take you down. You, like everyone, have your strengths and your talents. Use them to gain a solid ground and don't take no for and answer. You can do it and they can't beat you.

I think 30 is somewhere between young and middle aged. Neither young Nor middle aged. It is in between.
