...going barefoot. Ok, breathe now. That's right. I like shoes. Preferably lose, comfortable fitting shoes. Sometimes flip-flops or sandals, but never, never barefoot. I rarely go barefoot at home. I can't stand the feel of carpet, gravel or dirt on my bare feet, wood floors, concrete or marble I don't mind, however. And I even am partial to...*gasp* SOCKS!
I love shoes, as well. I only own one pair of socks, but I wear them everyday. The last time I went barefoot, I got a piece of glass in my foot.
i never have shoes on at home... i like being barefoot outside too, but im not so hardcore that i like walking on hot black top, gravel or rocks or glass barefoot. grass and sand are awesome though.
That's ok, I don't like.........dirt. Not on the bottom of my feet, not on my hands. I just don't like how it feels. Needless to say, camping disturbs me.
Hmm, Libertine, I think you should be expelled from the Hip Forums for not belonging. Just kidding. I, myself, am partial to neither. I enjoy barefooting, at times, but I also enjoy the comfort of socks, and the security of shoes.
omg... you mean you never get to feel the soft silky grass.. mud between your toes... the envigorating feel of stones and shingle.. clear soothing waters... oh man.... you havent lived..
What amazes me is these squidbike riders - you know the type - driving a sewing-machine sounding Kawahonda GSXR Ninja-Katana in dayglo green - with full face SHOEI helmet rated Snell, but flip flop (thongs in Australia/England) sandals, shorts and tank top.
Ya ..that!!! My husband hates to be barefoot and I am ALWAYS barefoot. And it makes me insane when I see him if he has to make a quick trip for something without his shoes....he hobbles around (in grass) like someone is lighting him on fire. A pissy clucking hen. Oh god! It is the biggest pet peeve I have with him! Its like it makes him so damn prissy to be complaining about grass on his feet! LOL His feet are smoother and pinker then anyone I have ever known because he is never barefoot!
