The grilled chicken sandwiches. They have about 2 g of fat per 100 calories. Not bad compared with 5 g or more per 100 calories for things like the Big Mac. I've never seen the grilled chicken advertised. All I've seen for many months is that same ad for the Angus burger with all that beef and the cheese and bacon hanging out of it. You know, the commercial where that giant burger is right in your face occupying the full width of the TV screen. Now if we could only get McD to stop hiding the calorie information on the bottom side of the tray liner. .
eh, i don't think it's so hard to read the menu. it's not particularly unusual for a business to advertise its new product, rather than something that they have probably been selling for years. i'd probably find it annoying if the nutritional information was posted on a large billboard in their front parking lot. the info is available and easy to find, i don't really know what more you want on that one.
Also, if your talking to Americans, make sure to tell them to take their food off the tray before turning it over to see the calorie information. They aren't always too bright. .
as much as people whine about it, you wouldnt think it, but 99 percent of the people who go to mcdonalds still dont give a fuck about their health. Hence the reason they are at mcdonalds.
Anyone remember the Arch Deluxe? There was an aggressive marketing campaign for that one but it flopped. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arch_Deluxe "It is estimated that McDonald's spent over $300 million on the research, production, and marketing for the Arch Deluxe. The company recently stated that some of its initial research into adult marketing was recycled in the recent development of its successful line of salads." .
Yeah. Surprising no one has used that approach before of the super duper close-up of a giant burger in the face. Simple but effective. .
McD's take on veggie burgers. They're not on the national menu but I've heard that some McD have them. Not sure about that. http://www.mcdonalds.com/usa/eat/nutrition_info/nutrition_faq/vegburg.html They sure don't conduct an aggressive advertising campaign for stuff like that or the grilled chicken, even when they are new, like they do for something like the Angus. .
McDonald's isn't to blame for this nation's obesity, but idiots that don't care about their fast food having taste are to blame for McDonald's getting the heat!
dammmmn right- my trip to america- consisted of trying all your spectacular fast food places HAHA taco bell= i had to come home and barf (ground beans wtf?) chillis= sweet baby jesus Maccas= much better than NZ macdonalds- much more processed and disgustingly greasy (delivered what it promised) Pizza hutt= much better than NZ but the large? was like the size of a small child! jack'n'the box= i was somehow obsessed with this place- was my first curly fry ever- Carls Jr= wow. grease. may contain traces of burger In-n-out burger= for the win! good memories- a little down syndrome gal dropped a fry on the ground and my 2 year old picked it up and ate it- it was brilliant. needless to say i packed on american holiday pounds. i swear i will never do that again...
