I don't eat my broccoli stems.

    Nope, I don't. I throw them outside for the raccoons to eat. Got a problem with it? :toetap05:

    If I wasn't the only one who would eat broccoli around here, I'd do the same thing. The flowery part is the only really good part.

    Hey, it's not like you waste it. No biggie. I don't like broccoli at all personally.

    I diddn't know people actually eat the stem. I thought it was like the core of an apple lol

    when i would cut up broccoli at work i would throw away all the stems. then one day i was like "wait, what am i doing? this is broccoli not weed."

    i hate all of my broccoli. unless its chinese food brocolli then its goood

    I'll eat the stems if it's in broccoli rice casserole. That's my favorite food ever.

    Peel those babies,shake some celery salt or spike on 'em and eat 'em raw.Crunchy and tasty.

    See, even then, I only eat the crowns. They soak up all the sauce and it makes them scrumptious whereas the stems just have that same old icky taste...
    It's definitely the flavor more than the texture. Uck. I don't know why. I just really hate it.
