how the hell do they keep the tea from getting cloudy when it's refrigerated? when you store tea in a cold place, it remains perfecty drinkable, but it goes all murky and cloudy.
i was just going to make a post about how much i love the diet lipton green tea. best thing to ever come to me in a bottle.
i love the botteld stuff lol.. i never even tried the real thing ha... its not big over here in ireland, we need all the warm tea we can get lol
yeah, i prefer hot tea, but i made some tea last night with intentions of drinking iced tea this morning. i left the window open and it got cold overnight and the shit went all cloudy. iced tea is good in the summer though. especially the real stuff
fresh brewed iced tea is about a million times better than the shit in a can.......... but I'll admit I drink them 99 cent cans once in a blue moon.
on the occasion i drink the bottled stuff (usually just on road trips) i make an effort to find one without artificial sweetener or corn syrup. its tough, but they exist.
fresh brewed meaning made with hot water and tea bags.... instead of instant mix or whatever they use in the bottled stuff
Awhile back I started using Lipton's "Cold Brew" tea bags. It works good and I'm not tied to the stove waiting for the water to get hot. I let the tea sit for 2 hours before adding sugar. I drink so much iced tea I keep 4 pitchers going at all times.
make your tea normally, but double strength. you can add honey or lemon or sugar or whatever if you like. let it steep. now since its concentrated, dilute it with cold water. this will cool it to the point where it won't melt ice cubes. add ice. iced tea....tea on ice
