I finally figured it out!!!!

What pisses me off more than anything.

Liberal racists. Yes, them. They are a very hard bunch to spot to the untrained eye. They are the people who seem super liberal; they're pro-choice and more often than not anti-religion. They claim to be humanists, and strive for equal rights and acceptance. They choose their words carefully and have a tendancy to be very condesending to people whos veiws differ from their own... even though they will preach for hours about your right to be that wrong.

They are so uptight and politically correct in their hatred that they will go through miles of mental gymnastics to convince themselves and everyone else they are who they claim to be. But if you look at their character you can spot the differences.

I hate them for the same reason I hate blantent racists and all those who are blunt in their ignoriance and hatred. But what makes me hate them the most... is how compleatly full of shit they are. If you are an honest man who believes in things I find distasteful... I can still respect you on a basic human level. We may differ and I may see you as misinformed as you see me... but at least you're true to something.

These people, are walking shams of humanity. And they rarely if ever get called on it. They just... get away with it.

And that's why you piss me off the most, thank you.

I feel so much better now that I articulated that.

I’m a liberal. I’m pro-choice, I believe in god but I’m against organized religion.

I also eat meat (I had steak tonight) and I believe in the second amendment right to carry firearms. I’m originally from Massachusetts (a bastion of liberalism if there ever was one from Harvard University to Williams College) and while I was growing up we had two openly gay congressmen.

So how do you classify; me?

It is funny to me that people like that have to try so hard to make themselves look liberal but some of their views are very backwaters.

I've found in most cases, taking an instant dislike saves a lot of time.

The topics need to be sectioned off in order to create some order. I've never had a problem posting in the gay forum or the barefoot forum. The dreads forum is another story however...

I don't think it's that you're unwelcome if you're not gay or you wear shoes, its just a way to give homosexuals and barefooters somewhere to discuss whatever they'd like to discuss.

Could you imagine how chaotic it would be if there was only one forum for all subjects?

I dunno, people are too sensitive in my opinion. Everybody's offended by something. 90% of online discussions seem to just be people arguing and people being offended. It happens on every social site. I find that more irritating than anything. Discussions get sidetracked because this person's an asshole or this person is ignorant or not listening or thinks differently.

 

where are you getting this information? there is nothing about sectioning off forums to create order in the guidelines, and your name doesn't seem to be in the moderator lists

i've seen this place in a "chaotic" state several times ... i'm guessing that's why it's moderated ... personally i prefer good moderators and a little chaos over segregation and prejudice... but then, i ain't the one putting the hours in running this muppet show :mickey:
