For 30 minues ontop of Daytona! I didn't take off or land though... Cessna! With two passangers! Without a license Funniest thing ever happened though, a Deltra 757 was approaching the airport, and I was flying around... and the control tower made the Delta plane, which is probably 100 times bigger than the Cessna I was flying make a huge u-turn because of me being in its airspace. Hearing the message over the radio was great " Delta flight blah blah, nearby airtraffic included a Cessna skyhawk, please make turn at 180 degrees to avoid possible collission"... and then in a really angry voice "Cessna 417, turn 45 degress south, NOW! heavy airtraffic infront of you", all I replyied was "Aknowledge, airtraffic in sight", as the damn Boeing was right in front of me ... there was also an emergency landing by some plane so I hovered around for a while, my friend the pilot taught me how to do sharp turns and 0 gravity... fun stuff. It was also Bike Week in Daytona so I saw the MOST colourful cast of bikers... man... they were everywhere.
ive flown gliders before made it to solo had a few flights over 5 hours (glider flights are about 20 min unless your good at thermalling & finding lift sources) i love it flying is amazing especialy in a glider cause hawks will circle right off your wingtips & u can get pretty up close & personal with some beautiful soaring birds in a way that only a glider or hang glider would allow havent tried hanglideing yet but someday
I have always wanted to fly a glider... it always seemed so amazing ,so free... like wings, ya know? Knowing myself though, I'd probably land in the middle of a damn lake on one of those
Did you take off from the Sanford/Orlando Airport? Both my dad and stepdad each had planes parked there in the early 80s. Except my stepdad's plane was used for legit business, whereas my dad used his to fly in compressed pot from Jamaica and the Bahamas. lol.
I don't think we'd reach Boston, it only has 6 hours of gas in the tank I took off Daytona International... from Embry Riddle. You dad sounds like an interesting fellow.
...but that's the new Canadian money you gave me, the one that is made only for the blind... so people who can actually see cannot read it.
Deal... does the carrot come included? ... In other news... I also jammed so much today, the friend was a lead singer of my band back in Honduras, so we played all of our old songs together... it was fun fun.
of course, there is 1 weeks worth of carrots and pea pods for the donkeys included. all 3 of the donkeys eat both all the time...its wierd with the pea pods... thats cool ya got to jam and fly with an old buddy.
Can I hang pea pods from a stick? Ya man, the jammin' was great. He's going to Honduras for 2 weeks, but I'll probably get to see him soon enough afterwards... he's a great guy... seriously, great guy... amazing family too... he is also different from most of my friends which is nice... he doesn't drink at all, doesn't smoke, good doer and all of that stuff, really altruistic even though he's filthy rich, I dunno... great guy.
they are your donkeys now...if you want to hang the pea pods on a stick, go for it he does sound like a good guy. do you have any recordings uploaded online?
I can tie the pea pods inside one of those mint scented bags... hmm... Nah, no recordings, at least none that survived... we've had some back back back in the day, even had a couple of videos of shows... but time, crashed computers, and carelessness destroys such things. We haven't played together for hmm... around 2 years. I haven't seen the sound guy, the roadie, or the bass player ever since the band broke up. Haven't seen the other guitarist in a year and a half.
thats a good idea with the mint bag...i can do that with my donkey... well, i'd love to listen to some stuff if ya ever do get something recorded with them...or even just yourself jamming or whatever... i can't play anything, but i do enjoy listening to others jam out, and since i sorta know you, it'd be cool to listen
