i get dollars from random people on the street...

over the summer me and my friend did this EVERY DAY to get $10 or 15 bucks for some liquor or weed.

we would walk around up and down this street with our shoes off and ask everyone we saw for a dollar or two, and we would say we need it to get on the train cause someone stole our shoes and our wallets n shit.
a lot of people would give us a few bucks, some people would say no, and once in a while we'd come up on $10 or even $20 bucks from one person.


a few of my friends got mad at us for always doing this, but shit i'm broke and plus if they can afford to give you a dollar, they will so i don't see how it's really a bad thing.

no i don't have time for a job because i go to school (well i dropped out but i'm going back in november)
and i tried having a job and the hours didn't work out, where i am it's hard to find a part-time job if you're 16 where the hours will work.

panhandling takes maybe 30 mins a job is like 4 or 5 hours a day part time so i don't see your logic.



and no it's not stealing. i ask for a dollar, they give me a dollar.
so fuck you, they're all rich yuppies anyway one dollar doesn't mean shit to them, plus when i have money and someone asks me for a dollar i will give them a dollar, it's all karma.

not trying to be judgemental of homeless people but the fact is a lot of them are spending it on drugs and alcohol as well, but you're not getting mad at them for it.

the fact is that right now i can't get a job (for reasons i said before, school and availability of jobs where i live), my parents don't have that much money, and i'm trying to have a good time.

if that means asking yuppies (who have money up the ass and one dollar isn't going to make any difference) for dollars and not being completely honest with them, then i'm willing to do it.

Don't act like its just your area, I've been trying to find work for two months and you don't see me begging for money. And just because people have money to spare doesn't mean there isn't a homeless guy who ACTUALLY needs it!

 

And you are a total fool, my mom actually works with homeless people and knows that is just a stereotype... They get hundreds of people coming in for help and do you know what they always want? Food, a place to stay, a bus ride, help with hospital bills, rarely does somebody ask for cash to buy drugs, at least around here.

are you serious i fucking KNOW that lots of homeless people aren't drug addicts. but fucking face it that there ARE shitloads of crack addicts, heroin addicts ,etc that beg for money. especially where i live, most homeless people ARE addicts. so fuckin good for your mom, i dont give a fuck, i know that homeless people aren't all addicts but a lot of them are.

 

i'm not getting money by pretending to be homeless. the people i ask for money KNOW that i have a place to stay, decent clothes, etc. i'm not acting homeless.
