as an early birthday gift from my parents. it hurt like crazy and i felt like i was going to faint, but i made it and now i love it haha here's some (not great) pics of it. tell me what ya think!
Wow, nice. I don't go for tats personally, and if I did it'd probably be something small. But I like that one. Why'd you pick that design?
I seen one that was similar to mine and i liked it alot so i decided to take it up to my tattoo artist to see if he can draw something similar. plus, it is a branch from a cherry blossom tree, and it reminds me of my mom cause she loves cherry blossom trees
holy shit!! that is a helluva first tattoo.. nice work.. did you realize what you were getting into? i mean the time and pain you were going to have to deal with? im guessin not or it woulda been smaller and in a less painful area.. lol
well, it's not my 1st tattoo.. it's my 3rd, i have 2 smaller ones.. so i thought it was time for a bigger one haha
oh i just assumed from"i got a tattoo today" that it was your first.. thats what i get for assuming huh...
2 hours isn't bad. It came out really nicely and I'm sure the artist was pleased to have such a beautiful canvas to work on
haha thanks brian.. i hope i was a good canvas hehe i probably was pretty annoying though cause everytime he would stop and start again i would jump like i was scared haha.. i'm surprised he didn't fuck it up when i did it.
200$ for that?! Here it would've cost at least 400-600$ It's georgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheers2:
$200 isn't bad for such a big tat. Both of mine were $40 each. Here they are. The pics suck, but you can still make them out a little bit. The first one is a cardinal in attack mode. This one is the catterpillar from Alice In Wanderland sitting on a mushroom and smoking a hookah. The green part of the mushroom cap turned yellow after it healed.
That's really cool, your tat has just gained my respect. I don't see the point in getting tattoos that are meaningless and are not representative of anything. It's a really beautiful piece of art attached to yet another piece of art (the body). Take good care of it for the first month, and I hope you receive enjoyment from it for their remainder of your earthly life. Oh and is that guy on the TV in the second pic rolling a j?
