went into his room to wake my lazy brother's ass up for work and stepped on the lid of one of those tin fruit cans, the kind that you peel off...(what kind of sick person leaves that on their bedroom floor? me yelling at him would make a whole other thread, haha) it was bent upwards and sliced through the heel of my foot...bled like a mother fucker, thought i might need stitches so went and got checked out...it was almost half an inch deep maybe more... I didnt need stitches after all, just a shot...when she started preparing the needle I jumped down off the table and started undoing my pants...the look of bewilderment on her face was priceless... apparently they don't give you them in the ass anymore i had one when I stepped on a nail when I was a kid, and it was in the ass so, it wasn't like I was that ridiculous...but she was pretty young and foreign so maybe it was to her?!
ooooh i've done that before. the dog got into the trash one of the cat food cans was on the floor along with the top and other trash. same type of pull off top. stepped on it near the ball of my right foot. hurt like a bitch didn't go to the doctors i've stepped on rusty nails from my porch a few times...didn't feel like going to get the shot. i'm still alive i absolutely hate that shot
i dont mind needles at all but i will never again get a tetanus shot...the likelyhood of gettig tetanus is so small its not worth it at all especially after my mother has severe nerve problems after a reaction to the shot that are still controling her life over a year after the shot
i'm fine with shots...i just hate that one. i like to feel my body beat the ever loving shit out of tetanus by itself
Ugh...dude I had to have surgery on my feet multiple times... I've had a fear of things touching my feet and a fear of needles long before the operations, and dear lord did I want to kill myself. I think I have had probably 6 or 7 shots in the feet and one crazy nasty pair of scissor/plier things goin at my heel....unbearable torment
once i was supposed to get a TB test shot. insted the ignorant nurse injected me with a 20 years supply of tetanus....true story. the doctor just told me that i was good for a long time...
That's my foot after a horrendous experience involving a tiny tiny tiny piece of glass and 5 months of time allowed for it to fester and create a callus the size of a pea sticking out of my heel.
The doctor ripped most of the callus off of my foot without any anasthesia...probably one of the most painful/uncomfortable things in my life
A long time ago, someone here posted a pic of his self surgery removing a bb pellet that got shot into his foot and that was in there for a long time. Looked pretty bad with all the blood from the surgery. The original wound was almost unnoticeable. .
