I know its not a good thing to do but i was my birthday and i was driving home pretty fast after drinking about 12 shots of so co when i got pulled over. I kept answering all his questions with one word answers so he woulden't smell my breath. He even had me in the back of the police car as he wrote me a ticket for a expired drivers license, I can't beleive he didn't smell anything. I am one lucky bastard. Anyone else got away with it? P.S. i already know im stupid for doing it but i make poor decisions when im drunk, don't we all?
Here in Florida everybody drinks, and everybody drives including the cops. (Not all, but more than you can imagine) it's so fucking scary. I hate being out there on the road...I don't do it often, only for work. I used to drive drunk a lot... one time I even ripped the fender off of my car while backing up drunk and hit a pole... I've also sideswiped my old apartment complex... man I used to be an idiot.
Nothing personal but you're lucky you got away without killing anyone, yourself included. of course it sounds like you already know this.
As a matter of fact, yeah. I was getting quite hammered in a club about 5 years ago and I decided to leave with my friend as the place was coming to a close. We piled in my two seat Ford Ranger and opened up our 40 oz's and enjoyed them on the way home. I tried to be sneaky about taking sips when there were no cars, but somehow that wasn't what happened. Someone had called the cops on us and the next light down I got hooked up. I pulled into the corner gas staion...prepared and pissed that I was about to get my first DUI. It was a horrible feeling. He walks up and takes my I.D. and sees the beers that were thrown under the seat. He checked my eyes with his flash light, asked me where I was going and told me to hurry there and don't leave once I arrive. *It was my military I.D. that saved my ass. I learned my lesson and have never had a DUI.
When I was in zombie-retard mode in high school, I used to drive totally fucked up on alcohol and pills. Don't remember how I got home many nights... car was always fine though, no blood smears... still, really fucking dumb of me and now I avoid those situations. Live and learn I suppose.
You're just a tit really, aren't you dippin? I don't know about 'one lucky bastard'. I'm thinking more 'one mindless idiot'.
yeah man i used to drink and drive all the time because i am mentally reterded and the cops down here dont seem to care that much unless it nears check day that when the natives act up on check day
That's weird. A good friend had a similar situation occur a couple days ago. He was very drunk and got pulled over for some minor traffic violation. He was very drunk, didn't have his license, and the cop told him to just go back where he was coming from. I've driven drunk once, on a busy highway, it was scary, and I'll never do it again.
as far as drink drivers go, there are none more hopelessly powerless than those who falsely believe they are in control. it's sad and decadent to understand that it's not just an issue of 'not getting caught this time'; it sets the benchmark for the next time.. (''ah, i didn't get caught then so who knows, luck might be on my side tonight..'') whereas the real issue; the issue of the driver being a fucking major hazard to both him/herself and others; is completely unacknowledged.
Anyone who drives at some point has made the mistake of drinking while driving. You just hope you don't get pulled over and promise yourself to never to do it again. Hotwater
I got pulled over for stealing gas one day and the cops realized that my driver's license was suspended. I was pretty drunk and the cop knew I'd been drinking, but he said that he wasn't gonna give me a breathalyzer test because the batteries were dead. haha He took me back to the store and let me pay for the gas I stole, then he took me to jail for driving on a suspended license. He even found my bubbler in the car and left it in there, and it was still there when I picked my car up from the impound lot. haha
stealing gas use to be so easy in my city but then some kid a couples years back stole some gas and the gas station attendent tried to stop him and he ended up gettin dragged under the car for like 20 minutes. He obviously died but the real kicker is that the kid only stole 12 bucks in gas. Some guy lost his life over 12 bucks in gas. So now all the gas stations here in vancouver are pre pay.
dont drink and drive. what if you ran into a pole or stop sign or kid? the more you do it. the higher your chances are
