I've never understood the hype about California. Its warm? Well we got 49 other states with warm weather was well. Some are even warm year round. Personally i like states where you get all 4 seasons.

 

Swap you for Scotland.

I've always wanted to visit California.

 

That was ment for the OP obviously I really would like to go to Scotland as well sometime but certainly not in autumn or winter!

 

We don't have seasons anymore in Scotland it's just shite all the time.

 

I love California, its a great state if you enjoy the outdoors. You have mountains, deserts, ocean, and some of the most amazing forest on earth. Not to mention medicinal weed Cant wait to return myself

 

i think it's pretty cool here, i don't miss the seasons not changing. Most of the time it's colder here than back in the south. yea, the medicinal part is great!

 

it just depends where you live in california. most of the nice places are SUPER EXPENSIVE. lots of california is super ghetto and crappy. the city areas are full of black vs mexican violence. and the desert and country areas are full of biker gangs and meth labs. in southern california I would say the only nice areas are the beach communities.

i have only visited northern california a few times so I do not know to much about it other than it is a lot more green and a lot nicer.

most suburban areas the culture is a do your own thing type of culture or mind your own business culture.

for example I notice in midwestern states a lot of the suburban communities have a real strong connection and everyone knows each other and is real friendly. plus no fences. new neighbors move in around here and the whole neighborhood invites them for a bbq and get together.

while for the most part in suburban areas in california everyone does their own thing and does not get involved much with neighbors and the community. here we got fences. new neighbors move in and nobody cares to say hi haha.

 

North of Redding ,it's a completely differant state. As is the coast north of LA all the way up. Much,much nicer.

 

It's not like it is on the telly then.

 

I personally would LOVE to live in a state where smoking weed is not considered one of the Greatest Criminal Offenses and Sins in the world, and that would be California.

I live in a state where that ^^^ is the case and it (having a simple possession charge) greatly affects one's ability to even qualify for certain (low-paying, next-to-nothing) jobs.

 

I love the word telly, it's so fucking cute

 

It's dirty here (smog, trash overflows in the streets of los angeles), it's over crowded and there's way too much traffic. The sun is scorching..I swear, we're all gonna roast to death. There's also crime. I don't feel safe here. I don't feel safe taking a walk (that's horrible!!) It's the ugliest state I've been to. It depresses me so much.

 

the one thing I do love about southern california though is how you can go to the beach the mountains and the desert all in a hour to 2 hour drive.

 

I'm Cali bound for the community.
