i hate the word "uber"

uber (actually, it's über).. is german and means sth like 'above'.. think it got famous from Nietzsches referal to the über-Mensch.. the human that is above the other humans (the unter-human).. let's get not into his whole philosophy here, but the bottomline is that he was trying to counter the Christian moral which states that thinks like obedience, peacefullness etc etc are better than fighting for your own right, strongness, etc etc.. it's a bit different than that but I don't feel like going into it now.

Anyways.. the word über in everyday languages basically means 'better than' or indeed 'super' or 'above the other'.

I think it's über-cool though

Well not really, but the grammar gave me so much headache in school. But yah, anyhoo.. the word über sounds really silly when it's mixed with English.

I think its an internet thing anyway. ive never heard anyone actually speak the word uber. same with "owned". who the fuck says that IRL?

 

I walk down the street every damn day, and I'm all like " Your hella owned you uber bitch", to all these homeless people. They just give me a wierd look and go back to drinking their wine
