We just moved to New Jersey and it sucks. There is no air conditioner in this house yet and I am sweating to death. I think I've ate like 10 freeze pops...I don't like them though because I always cough when I eat them. I must eat them wrong or something. My bunny hates it here too, he has to stay in his cage and he likes to roam around. I feel like leaving but I can't because I don't know of anywhere to go. I was walking around earlier and I saw lots of strange people. There also seems to be bugs around here and I don't like it...they are HUGE. I just want to go back to my old house...any of my old houses. lol My luck this is the time we will stay in one place for months on end.
Where did you come from and why isn't there an airconditioner in the house yet? Is it new or something?
I used to live near Seattle. The house isn't new but we remodeled part of it and there was only a window air conditioner in a couple of the rooms when we got here. My mom however decided that they were ugly and had the carpenters remove them. The central air will be installed the day after tomorrow, so I am going to be hot for a while.
No. my moms husband is some type of financial attorney he helps people start businesses and stuff. He travels around and we get to go with him. It's lovely really...I don't want to harm him at all.
NJ gets a bad rap....I would rather live there than MANY other places in the US....people assume its all industrial like Elizabeth or Newark, but its actually quite rural and has a fairly nice coast. Plus NYC is not far away no matter what part of the state you live in.
come on... cape may n.j. isnt that bad. espiecially at this time of year. you're by the beach... there's lots of adorable houses there to look at.
at least you are out of the ultra white Seattle area and away from all those silent flakes who obey way too many traffic rules.
hahaha that cracked me up . im leaving seattle/bellevue are in a couple weeks myself.... i think im going to miss it here
Quote: hahaha that cracked me up . im leaving seattle/bellevue are in a couple weeks myself.... i think im going to miss it here It seriously bewildered me when I moved there. I'd be waiting to cross a street with only 1 car coming, the car would stop and motion for me to cross in front of them, then they would continue....took way longer than if the just drove by and i crossed Where are you off to Crystal? I miss some things about that area....like the natural environment and the walkability of the city.
