That is one movie I have a love-hate relationship with. Mostly, I hate it - it is very disturbing and I don't care for it. But I love it because those same things I find repulsive about are also signs that it is a great movie. It's a great movie because it generates a strong emotional response in me. But I don't care to sit and watch it. I really don't like watching the type of attacks those characters inflict on others.
I have an obsession with DMT. Good to know others acknowledge their obsessions. Good & interesting to know people are still obsessed with that old Kubrik film. I currently find it eerily more watchable and relevant these post-modern days when I am middle aged then I ever did in my youth during the Carter & Reagan eras.
Since we are sharing obsessions: Batman Just hoping Batman Inc. isn't going to change any of that, just read 1, and man is this different.. I love the book. Haven't ever been able to watch the movie in one sitting. Hope it doesn't disappoint.
Heres a trailer. It isn't the original but I like it better than the original. :2thumbsup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40Xc-9YeWE4"]clockwork orange Heres the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5n2NXuQ5ako"]clockwork orange original
The first time I ever saw A Clockwork Orange was in a theater in the early 70s with my best friend after we'd smoked one together. Yeah, pretty weird and disturbing. I like disturbing stuff, cuz I'm so disturbed. I read the book too, a few years later. And a few months ago I watch the DVD from the library. It was still good, after all those years.
