But the information is liberated now.

My babymomma took off with my son on november 20th. She just up and moved to her dad's house. This wasn't the first time she has done this. But I had no legal right to the kid so there wasnt anything I could do about it. So after this november 20th incident, I got a lawyer, and ordered a paternity test, so I can get my paternal rights. I signed up for child support and everything. once that was established I was gonna sue that bitch for full custody of my son because she is lazy jobless, homeless, carless, unstable all around.

The DNA results came back. He isn't my son.

end of story.. after 3.5 years, I am not a parent anymore.

Have you been able to talk to someone about it? Like a counsellor?

I am so sorry to hear this. It must be heartbreaking for you.

While you are not a biological parent, you, after all that time are a parent to that child. If you still feel that way then you should still petition the courts for access. That child is going to thank you someday for doing that and being involved in their life.

Take a bit of time and also consult your attorney, a parent is someone who loves a child, by doing everything you have done, you obviously love this child. Sperm is only sperm and does not make a parent. You have by example been a parent.

My heart goes out to you for doing the right thing. I hope this all works out well for you and the child.

It's only a small consolation though, and I would still think about speaking with social services if she is an unfit parent.

Death we have not posted much and I do not presume to know you at all but would like to say a few things. Simply from an old fool who took time to learn that sometimes taking a little head room and a bit of time, makes for a clear picture.

I think you are very conflicted at the present and that is totally understandable and I do not think anyone in this situation could not be. You tried to do the right thing and instead just got the biggest kick in the teeth that is possible. When so many people today simply walk away, you did not. I admire that.

You have been a parent and you may be the only stable relationship that child may have in life. This whole situation is so fresh that making a decision at the present to just drop it may not be best for not only that child but also for you. You are attached to this young man and in years to come it will hurt you every time you think of him and if you cared that a much, you will always be thinking of him. At over three years of age, children tend to remember. At 20 they really remember who has been there for them.

Today access is far more liberal. Step parents and extended family are being granted it as it is for the betterment of the child. A child simply needs love and if you and your girlfriend can provide that then it is something you should consider. I honestly think a child can not have too many people in their lives caring about them. You may not have the amount of time that you hope for but any time that you can spend with this little man will count.

Please seek legal council and also involve your girlfriend, family and close friends as the larger the circle the easier it will be for you to not only do what you wish to but to also know what you wish to do.
