I joined the airforce today

im just wondering what kind of sign up bonus they offered him..??

 

I know its not a game that i can just walk away from. Believe me ive given this a lot of thought. I mean im gonna be in for 4 years then another 4 in the reserves.

Im going in for those exact reasons you listed, i dont wanna be like my friends who are already burned out and gonna be working shit jobs for the rest of there lives. I wanna do something with my life.

Already been doing that, havent smoked for a couple months. The only thing i want to do is get one last trip in before i ship out. I doubt ill forget it has ever existed but who knows 4 years is a long time.

 

none im gonna have a mechanical job so no bonus for me, i think only the bullet catchers in the army and marines get that.

 

haha that reminds me of the episode of The Family Guy where the ARMY comes to Chris' school and they put on this ridiculous laser show and show these videos of soldiers water skiing on the back of cruisers lol... recruiters fill your head with BULLSHIT.. one of my current employees applied for the army was told he was gonna be a mechanic and was given his check codes.. his father and grandfather both being former soldiers asked him what his check codes were and they said it was infiltry not mechanics... obviously my story is pertaining to the army.. but they are all the same.. just ranks filled with kids who need money desperately.. army brats and people who have been brain washed

ya army recruiters will lie to ya. I know people in the airforce right now and talked to them to verify what the recruiter has told me and everything so far has been the truth. Plus there are demands for mechanics right now so its pretty much guaranteed that ill get a job in that field.

 

My cousin did the exact same thing and had a great time!!! He got shipped to England and fixed and built Jets there and he loved it! Your gonna have a blast!! Good luck!!!

 

Man i just found out i ship out july 29, so much for having the summer to hang out with my buddies.
