I know this is gonna upset some people but...

I know we all say our tattoos mean something right? That they represent who we are....But admit it, come on...We also want people to look at us and think we're cool lol....U know it! Dont lie! LOL......Hope u all dont take this too seriously...I just wanna see who'd actually admit to it

only tats i got i did cause was drunk & bored..
been holdin off for a real 1 till i found 1 that really fit me..
might not ever get 1 if its not the right 1

yeah its true.. well, even tho i get my tats for MY reasons and i have meanings behind them i want other people 2 see them too! i mean why the fuck not, right? tattos are beautiful! thats why i dont think id get any 'hidden' tattos. i proly wotn get any jobs soon. haha

Its true, your definately right-- tattoos are just fuckin cool, I am trying to get alot of meaningful work lately but ill admit you always think"whats gonna look sweet", most the clients i get in usually only get "whats cool".

 

Haha...U people rock! Most people i know are in some form of denial about the subject....So while we're on it, anyone got plans on gettin more work done in the future? Any interesting ideas???

 

I was cool before I got my tats.... just even cooler now. There are only 7 cool people in my entire province though, so the competition isn't all that steep. haha!

 

I don't have any tats, but I've entertained the thought of getting one just so people will look at it and be like "Wow. That's awesome." and because I think I'd enjoy the pain of getting a tattoo. lol Pathetic, I know.

The pain of a tattoo is definately one of the things that intrigued me...A needle jabbing into ur skin is such a foreign sensation and i felt that it would do me good to experience it.......Might be leaning a little on the side of sadism but hey...I have my quirks and so does everybody else Plus the fact that I believe that you really dont know who you are until u know how you deal with pain of all kinds....So i dont think thats pathetic at all, Maggie......Just one thing, and I think most can agree with me...Once you get ur first one, u might not know WHAT u want next but u'll almost certainly want ANOTHER

 

no. as a matter of fact I dont care what-so-ever if anyone sees em.. theyre for me and me alone..sorry but im not that vain...

 

One thing that has kept me from getting one is thinking of that needle jabbing into me repeatedly..the other is I'm picky as hell...everytime I consider one, I dream about "old people" skin and how unattractive a tat is on it. The other is I want it in a place I can see but hidden from view unless I want it revealed. Now combine those two probs...
Only person I'm concerned about impressing is me, but I'm not easily impressed.

 

ummm...no~ not true for me.
i got all my tats because they are somthing ive always loved and wanted...i see them as an art form on my body. i could care less if anyone ever sees them (they are all hidden unless i have a bathing suit on anyway). i never talk about them unless im talking to someone else about tattoos and they ask.....some people ive known forever and they will see part of my tat on my back sticking out a little and say "you have a tatoo! i never would have guessed!"

i never thought tats were "cool"...i thought that they were art and art is personal.

 

I dont consider it vanity so much as i consider it just part of human nature....a way to know instinctively that we as people arent alone...Even if it's not a conscious thing...If someone asked u about ur tattoos, u wouldnt even once, for a split second, feel proud to show them and explain their meaning?

 

when people ask about mine ~its usually cause they have seen one peaking out from my clothes and want to see the rest~ i usually dont even show them...i just say "have one here, here and here" and point to the places they're at. I don't take any pleasure in showing them off really.

 

Wow...I just thought that when people have beautiful artwork on their bodies, they would love the opportunity to share it. I guess we're all just different in a way. I cant see myself, after being asked about my tattoos, just pointing. I can imagine the person sittin there waiting to see it haha.

 

I know a few people that feel that way about theirs. For some they are very personal and not meant to share with any and everyone.

 

well in order to see one of them i'd have to drop my pants (its on my upper leg) so that one hasnt seen the likes of too many people
