canadian currency has a mention of God on it...well, at least the coins do, i havent been able to examine a bill yet... anywys, i was looking at a nickle from 1964, and on the reverse with the queen on it, i noticed the words Dei Gratia on it...i looked up, in my handy dandy dictionary, what it meant, and apparently it means "By Grace of God"...meanwhile, in recenter years the whole words have been replaced for the simpler sneakier D.G. before the Word Regina [where it was minted]... oh my gosh, i wonder how many people in my house know that...oo, this would be a good bar bet
ey? who's the holy one... no, it excites me to know something new...and the fact that i now have somethign to try and make people [people beig some americans] shut up when they bitch and whine about having religion "forced" on them through their pennies
yeah, but see...im not sure what's going on with it...cause i dont wanna just be told somethign and just go along with it...but i dont wanna make somethign up like i was before... ive got a few things down pat, but even more stuff is still out in the air for me, thats why ive got my religion in my profile s agnostic christain...meg, whats the gas prices like where you live?
thats how much it is here too...in vancover its 1.08...suckers i wonder how much it is in the yukon when we went there 6 years ago it was 80 cents
