I`ll will be arrested august 20th

Near my school there is a CVS after school everyday they make all the kids from my school line up and let us go in 2 at a time. When kids try to walk in anyway they threaten to call the cops they say it was because they caught a kid from our school stealing but I dont think because one kid stole something we should all be treated as criminals. So come the first day of school august 20th I will sit in front of the doorway until I am arrested. Believe me they defenantly will call the cops I will continue to do this everyday while also making petitions and writing letters.

Do you think CVS not leting us in is a injustice or do you think it is nessacary to combat shoplifting. Anyway I hope my getting arrested will make the rally the students at my school to make the nessecary change.

they havent arrested anyone they threaten to but the students usually stop and leave but I will stay until the police come.

 

They make all the kids from my school line up and only 2 kids can go in at once and they have a 2 minute time limit but they dont make kids from the preppy private school dont the street do that or any other people.

There was a drugstore in my area where the owner would magentic tag products, but only those that minorities buy. Eventually, people noticed. A group started picketing his store everyday until he finally gave in an removed the tags. He lost more business from the picketing than from whatever he thought was being shoplifted more by minorities.

Disorderly conduct is my guess. If the store makes a rule man you got no choice but to obey it. They made the rule for a reason, so it would decrease shoplifting. Haha, every single day i experience what you go through, at our local tedeschis and cumberland farms they only allow 2 or 3 kids in at a time, its nothing new to me.

I have a choice to obey a injustice and I also have the choice not to. They store will send for the cops everyday for me and I will not let anyone pay my bail.
I will petition and send it to the CVS store headquaters
write to the local newspapers
Write many letters to the CVS owners
They cant ignore me forever and if they choose to do that well then they have lost potential customers

How about just telling everyone not to even bother going in there to buy stuff.....I mean what is it in a CVS that attracts high school kids? Why not just go get your soda, candy, food, whatever from another store? Why would you want to give them business in the first place if that is how they are going to be????

Isn't there a small "mom and pop" shop close to your school were everyone could go and hang and give their money to instead? In our town there was a family owned pizza place that we filled afterschool and they were more than happy to let us all in....they knew all our names and gave us discounted prices because we filled the place and the sidewalk up daily.....
