I lost my capo.

what a travesty this is... its out there somewhere in the tall, tall grass... its gonna rust... but worst of all, I'll probably never find it again. .

it feels so weird playing with a full neck....

i hope she's okay. .

i coulda sworn this thread was from like 3 months ago..

 

1) To get away from my house.
2) It was 30 degrees in my room and 70 outside.

but damn, I wrote some songs out there, they're so good, and I learned a bunch of Dylan covers.. no distractions..... playing outside is the best. .

 

i got some short/sad capo stories that i must tell


back in 11th grade, i was out playing in the park, and lost my capo in the grass, but then about a month later, this kid in my chemistry class was like "lO0l< wHaht I f0uND iN tHe paArK!!!" (he does talk like that...not a very bright lad...), and it was my capo! or someones...but since he didnt know what it was, i thought it would be better if i took it, so i did! but then i lost that one somewhere and havent found it since...

then i bought another one, and at first, i lost it at the same park, cause i was playing music for my class, and left my capo sitting on a bench, but luckily i was able to run back to the park after school, and it was still sitting there! that made me think that this was my lucky capo, and i would forever keep it! well then the week after that, i went to some girls house, played music for her, but i left my capo at her house...and it would be awkward to call her after not talking to her for so long to be saying "hey, can i get my capo back?"

so then i bought yet another one, and i havent lost it yet

 

i've only ever owned one... i'm at zero now. . i shall continue to drown in my tears until i'm no longer living.... or until i get a new one.

everything does start to feel really restricted once your so use to using a capo...

 

well, i was paranoid about my neck bending, and so i tuned my guitar down a step, but then i was told that my voice is too high for a guitar that low, so i had the capo on the 2nd fret, basically playing in standard tuning. the strings seem so tight now though, i tuned it back up......

maybe i'll make one out of clothes pins or something. .

and it's a little tiny dinosaur button, about the size of a quarter....

Why would that be the case? There must be something wrong if you're worried about the neck bending because the strings are so tight. Maybe you need new strings. When was the last time you replaced them?
