I resemble Emma Watson (at least, that's what I'm told), except my hair is strawberry blonde and my eyes are hazel. I am very, very pale and people feel the need to remind me everyday. I have been called a ghost and a vampire more times than I can count. People are often saying I need a tan. I once attempted to get a tan, but I was sunburned, so I stopped. I live in Florida and I stick out like a sore thumb. However, I have grown to love my skin. It is my identity and I think it is beautiful. I will never ruin my skin for anyone! The media can flaunt its Barbie dolls all day; I will not change! I will proudly display my pale face and show my milky white legs on a hot day whether society likes it or not.
girls with pale skin can be real sexy. i loooove freckles on girls. i'm pretty pale myself, but after a few coats of red during the summer, my freckles start coming way out and am pretty covered in them as well. i too have gotten the ghost comment being comfortable in your looks despite what people say is always a good "fuck off" feeling and it's so much more satisfying when you enjoy the appearance.
I'm very pale with freckles. I used to hate my skin tone; I went to the tanning bed a couple of times in high school to try to look like all the barbie doll tanned girls at my school. Now I love my skin and wear sun screen to protect it. I think now that people are becoming more and more aware of the dangers of too much sun, pale skin is becoming more accepted as beautiful, whereas a few years ago it was regarded as pasty and unattractive. Those tanned barbie doll girls that go to the tanning bed three times a week year round are going to have tough, leathery skin with a ton of wrinkles by the time they're 40, whereas us pale people who actually take care of our skin will have smooth creamy skin for a long time to come
That's what I bring up when someone tells me to tan. When I am forty, my skin will still be smooth to the touch and I will, hopefully, still maintain a youthful appearance. I know a woman who looks as though she is in late twenties, yet she is in her forties. This is due to the fact that she kept her skin pale.
I love my caramel-coloured skin! I can stay in the sun for about four hours without a shirt or sunscreen on without burning! Also, girls find it sexy.
I know a lot of people with dark skin that do everything they can to keep it from getting darker. and plenty of pale people do everything they can to make their skin become darker. People are silly.
Are You Saying You Have "Sunshine" In St Johns N.F...???.... Or Do You Migrate South For The Summer......??? Cheers Glen.
Here in Asia, every single skin care product has bleach in it to make your lighter. In the States people sit under high intensity UV lamps to make their skin darker. Nobody's happy with what they have I guess.
Can't agree more. When make a list of women who entice me, many will notice that they are either pale or naturally tanned. The most sexiest, to me, is Michelle Trachtenberg. The combination of her pale skin and dark hair really turn me on. She has been the star of the majority of my fantasies, also. I really wish she would go gay for me. *sigh*
I was the whitest girl at prom my junior year and every time someone describes me at work, it's "that short, really really pale girl". I don't mind getting sun, but I don't go out of my way to tan and I will never lay in a cancer booth. Being super white is fun.
And it works perfectly for you Lots of people seem like they're SUPPOSED to be pale, as other seem like they're supposed to be tan. They just don't seem like they'd look right, otherwise. I have pale skin, but I get the occasional accidental tan. lol I think I look better with a tan, but I'm too lazy to actually take the time to purposely get a tan.
At my prom, I could be seen even when the lights dimmed. It's nice to see another pale and short girl on this site. I am 5'3, which, even for women, is short in my area. Being super white is fun. Hell yeah! I especially love going to the beach and being one of the few non-Barbie dolls there. When people stare at my super white legs oddly, I smile.
