having a nice big cup of really hot cappucino, a sandwich and then watch an old French movie. i love to do this at mornings. it is funny how immediately after i do this i want to go to bed again.
it can be if i had somebody to cuddle with me before and after. and occasionally i do, but that just makes me want more. i really like sticking to someone under the sheets, like a leach or something and then start chewing on his hair.
I do that when my daughter sleeps in. I grab a mocha cappuccino, a fuzzy blanket, and watch a black and white movie of some sort.
Good morning Greengirl, in the last days I regularly woke up at three or four in the morning. Then I grab my glasses, walk to the fridge and snack a piece of cheese and.... go back to bed. Weired. At seven I'm up again and then coffee is my best friend . Regards Gyro
Sounds to me like the perfect morning, or activity for a rainy day. And it would make me sleepy too! I wish I had an espresso machine. I def feel like an artist when working with coffee, from my years working as a Barista.
Sounds like a good morning to me. For some reason, nothing beats a good book in the morning for me. I just love whiling the morning away with a fascinating read in bed, with real coffee and maybe some OJ at the bedside. Followed by a cooked breakfast and a brisk walk.
I like eggs, veggie sausage, and coconut milk for breakfast. I wish I woke up earlier, but I'm a night owl... and Dean is basically nocturnal.
I really like a relaxing morning, especially the ones where I sit on my back deck, with it still just a bit chilly, and the fog rolling across the creek in my backyard as the sun rises, everything a bit damp from the night. I LOVE those mornings, but lately I seem to have been waking up cursing that I slept till 2 PM.
your makin me wanna have a cappuccino a cuddle a blanket, and watch a film.. aww i might do that at some stage today... watch elvis ... i love elvis...
I dig the mornings too. This summer I have gotten so off of a schedule...going to bed at 2 and 3 and getting up at noon. My daughter has also gotten up then so there has been no need to rise earlier. Now we are getting back into the school schedule and it is so hard to readjust my sleep schedule.. But hot damn do I love the mornings. I love to grab a cup of coffee, a book and head out on the porch to do some reading in the fresh morning air.
When I wake up early in the morning, I usually have a quick frappé and then it's back to sleepyland.
Great idea! I have about 10 pages left on a Tom Robbins book I've been trying to get under my belt on and mostly off for two years now....
Jitterbug Perfume was the first book I read, and now I am just finishing up Skinny Legs and All. Next on my list (hopefully finished before school starts), I want to get through Even Cowgirls Get the Blues. I love his writing so much. It's amazing how much sensation he can put on paper, and how much his characters become a part of me.
