Hah, I was nearly run over by former DJ Mike Read. Aimed right for me and sped up, the bastard! Not sure that counts as meeting him though:confused:

Why are all famous people short?

    Rikki Rockett from Poison

    yes i know all very 80's :)

here's the story. way back about 5 years ago now i was out in Rochester, NY on Monroe Avenue (sort of the sub-culture area of the city). my ex and I decided to pop into the Starbucks (yeah i know not very sub-culture... whole other story) to get some tasty fuckin beverage. in front of us in line was this older guy who looked very 'Hollywood'. I had no clue who this was, neither did my ex.
the guy in front got his beverage and exited towards the front patio area to sit out there.

the clerk starts freaking out as soon as he's gone out the door "do you guys know who that was???"
    we looked puzzled.
he says "that was Rikki Rockett from Poison" (you know she's my cherry pie and all that crap big hair 80's drivel)

so we get our drinks and head out to the same patio (where we had planned to go anyway) and sat about 2 cafe tables over from Rikki Rockett of Poison.

all very exciting i know

Damn, that's like an ice cream without a flake, sex without an orgasm, Chas without Dave, Noel Edmonds without an excessively tidy beard:confused:

I seen Zoe Wannamaker walking down one of the streets off Covent Garden as we passed her, then had a double take moment - is it, is it not? That was about 14 years ago. Stuck up north you don't tend to meet many Celebs...

I would loosely call Tracy Emin an artist, although I believe she's a clever self-publicist, like the fat lass off Big Brother, Jade Goody yum yum.

I met someone famous but they were famous for all the wrong reasons. Dont want to say who, its an odd one!

In terms of your classic celebrity type, never met a single one. Dr Leg from Eastenders bumped into me in London once when I was about 15. Thats about all:eek:
