I'm not old enough to have been around when John Lennon was alive; but I've done a lot of research about him, watched videos of him, read about him, listened to his music and his message, and I just feel like I've missed out. I miss him. I wish he was still around. There will never be another John Lennon.
Yeah... if you read up about him, he was indeed kind of an asshole. Eventhough... I still loved John to death as a teenager, and I think that he had a tremendously positive influence on me.
John Lennon was a visionary. I myself am becoming a bigger McCartney fan these days. He has aged well, and his music remains fresh and inspiring after all these years. I often wonder if John was still around if he would still be in music. I actually doubt it, I believe he would be doing missionary work or something. I do miss him as well though. Too bad we were both born a few years late.
god yeah.... I think becuase i hated him, its the only untapped music to my ears that I could possibly listen to. 'Band on the run' all the way ... lol
I never could get really into the Beattles. I appreciate thier directions and all but not my cup or tea.
he was starting to remind people again in his music of things people in power didn't want people reminded of so they had him shot. the same people in power who seem to have pretty much taken over now. i think the're idiots, the kind of people who wanted him shot, and what the're doing to the kind of world we all have to live in. there will always come along other voices like his, no matter how many of them get martyred for what they attempt to do, and tyrannies rise and FALL as tyrannies always do. so its good to remember that people like him have come along, but even better to not put that as all being something in the past. =^^= .../\...
Would someone tell me why are you comparing the lead singer of Wings to that guy who married famous Japanese conceptual artist Yoko Ono? I really don't see a connection here...
