I seriously miss my cat. I know this sounds hella ghey but I might go ahead and find him again. A few years ago me and my ex decieded to get some kittens. I just wanted an average joe moggy but she was after something special. We sourced a specialist breeder and found some seriously nice kittens. She had every exotic kitten you could imagine. She ended up leaving with 3 of the little guys. My favourite was a blue point Birman boy. He was awesome! Every night he would squeeze in between us and purr like an engine. The breeder told us that Birmans were different from other cats. They are smarter that other breeds and kept their kitten like nature. This guy was extra special. When I got home from work he always ran to me and jumped on my lap lol. He was more like a puppy than a cat. We brought two Birmans from different parents to breed them later on. I paid 650 a kitten for these little monsters. My ex named the boy Zion. He was a blue point and I'd never seen a cat this awesome! Every morning he used to wake us up by pawing my ex's hair. Before we left for work he would jump up at us for hugs and go chasing the females. When I got home and switched on my PC he would jump on my bed and sit beside me. He'd put him paws on my leg and watch me and the monitor for an hour at a time. Then I found out he had the cat flu... It's like HIV for humans. His eyes used to get all full with bogeys and they started sneezing. We weren't supposed to let them outside in case they picked up a virus from strays but I let them out anyway. They loved running around without being locked indoors. We went to see the owner but her kid answered the door. She was in the garden and didn't know we were coming. It turned out that ALL the kittens were positive. They were all sneezing with eyes full of mucus. She had been cleaning their eyes each time a customer arranged to view her stock. Well I sold the cats after my ex and me split up but I would pay 1000 to have Zion back. I don't even care about the virus. It sounds insane to pay that for a cat but he really is the best. I would just buy another blue point but it wouldn't be Zion. I've seen other Birmans but I see now that he can't be replaced. Maybe I'll just buy another and see. Heres a pic that resembles him,
I can't blame you... I don't think I could ever find a replacement for any of my pets. It's that bond you have. I'm sorry to hear that. =(
there's another wonderful pet out there just waiting for someone to save him. i'd find another. i get my kittens at the pound and they all end up incredibly loving and social. my daughter's cat is too social and purrs like a GTO. they follow us everywhere like little dogs and have always been a joy for us. i know you can't replace the relationship you had with that one cat, but you can develop an equally wonderful relationship with a new one.
I'm sorry about your cat. My cat passed a couple of years ago. Sometimes I find things that he hid through the house and it reminds me of him.
Did any one say cats here??? i got two..absolutely love them.. they are in fact mini tigers this is one of them(Pixy)
