i did something stupid. i saw this sweater online so i ordered it with my husbands credit card without telling him:& ... how do i tell him i did that without getting it tons of trouble?
I could also jerk and send you the "proteins" in a doggie bag? Eeeek - that was pretty sick of me... Sorry... Anyway, what's your answer???
lol random thoughts threads always take a interesting twist well the good news i have tell thursday tell he comes back hes in austin tx and he'll be back then. so i'll just be really nice then break the bad news to him.
where you always married? I don't know why but I didn't think you were...oh well, lol. maybe say to him..."honey I found something great you could get me for xmas so I just went ahead and ordered it because I loved it so much!" and butter him up for days...then, when it comes just bug the crap out of him everyday till he gives it to u early. lol
ya i've been married since i was 19 we were seperated for awhile so ya i've been married though all along.
This is what I would do. Your birthday is in November right? Tell him you love the sweater. You bought it but after it was shipped you had feelin's of guilt. The reason you have guilt is because your worried about how he is goin' to react. If it really upsets him maybe you could wait till your birthday for the sweater or consider it an early gift now. Comprimise. If he gets upset, let him cool off for a few, then talk about it.
When he comes home say it was really hard managing the house by yourself and to relieve stress you ordered the sweater. Than tell him how much you appreciatte all he does when he is home and what a good emotional and financial supporter he is. Men always like to be told that they are living up to their masculine role-complement him on his maleness and I am sure the sweater won't be a problem. Also say that since you spent the money on the sweater that a sentimental gift rather than a costly one would be perfect for your b-day.
well you could just start out dramatically -- "honey, i have something to tell you. i did something really, really awful. some people might not even forgive someone for doing what i did. but temptation is just so hard to fight sometimes, and you know i've always tried to do right by you.. but i'm only human and we all make mistakes..." by the time you get to the fact that you just bought a sweater, he might just be so relieved he'll tell you to buy some pants too.
