i put someone to sleep at school today...

i gave such a good massage that the guy on the table fell asleep. and when he woke up, he said it was such a good massage, that he'd pay for it. meaning i'm gonna do ok as a massage therapist! YAY!!

the best part about it is, he's one of the hardest to massage in the class, cause he does olympic weight training and competes and shit. so he's like... so solid it's really hard to get the kind of pressure he wants. but i did it! and the teacher gave me a really good compliment too, so i feel really good today. all in all, it's been a great day!

i don't know what exactly, but knowing how the body operates and responds is key - which i'm going to continue to learn anatomy and physiology, kines, strength and conditioning stuff, and massage just seems to fit in there...

i'm also thinking of trying to do a master of sports management, so the massage component would be helpful getting me into the program i think.
