i realized something about myself this weekend...actually ive always known it

while some girls like to flirt and like guys a lot and all that... and just like to flirt a lot and meet guys...

im the kinda guys that when i meet guys out at a festival or something, ill be sitting there smoking with them and talking to them like one of the guys.... i only get truly attrached to men after i chill with them.... see how their full personality is and have a conversation with them. meaning... im friendly and yeah, i flirt at times.... but im just not like some girls like that.

it's very odd and i really cant explain it. i just realize that i make myself just one of the guys on purpose because i dont like flirting with a lotta assholes.

Sometimes I guess it is natural to flirt when your just getting to know someone. I don't get to talk to that many people so when I do and they are the opposite sex I can't say I flirt but I get intrigued to find out what they are all about. Sometimes it doesn't take me that long. Sometimes not soon enough.

im for real though..sometimes i feel like because im not an attention-whore in front of guys like lots of girls i know...

oh well. i know the guys i do talk to are really cool and not just in for (what a guy said to me)- "when i saw her i just knew i was GONNA fuck her".

The only reason you haven't noticed other girls who act like you is because the flirty girls are just more noticable. There are more non-flirty people than you think.

 

I'm not like that in real life, I only flirt with guys I know. I don't even talk to other guys, I sometimes smile, and I might say hello. That's about it. I can't just "chill" with people I don't know. I'm extremely shy, so that would make me very uncomfortable.

 

that's cool. moonshyne... the flirty girls get kinda annoying... like flirting with every guy they see and shit. yeah... just i dunno. i dont know how people can be like that all the time.

I have a clear line between who I flirt with and who i chill with. If I like a guy I don't want to do the friends first thing and if I don't like a guy I think it is mean to lead him on.

 

I think I talk more than flirt. I ask a lot of questions when I first get to know someone. I really don't think that is considered flirting but I do get intrigued from time to time.

oh yeah, laura. i talk to everyone. when im actually feeling social. many of times im just a loner and i really dont mind. i love being alone. it's great.

i love being with people at times too. but when i meet people... i dont know... i just dont flirt with a lot of people. if i find someone interesting... like i did with this one guy at the folk fest... (i was dehydrated and he took care of me for three hours.. took me to the medical tent, held me to calm me down, etc.)- i still didnt flirt with him. just talked. i dont know.. im weird...

That's not weird. I consider that an honest person. You didn't want to lead him on while he was helping you. You let him know you appreciated him help by just being a friend. I think that is very cool.

You know, honestly I don't know very many extremely flirty girls, except for the straight up redneck trailor trash around here. Like I said, I think it's just easier to notice flirts...I mean, you got a girl, flaunting her ass or boobs to a crowd of men, verses 2 or 3 other chics chilling out in the grass chatting or something. Most people are gonna notice the skin.

But I don't think there's anything wrong with flirting, as long as you're not all dippy and stupid about it. Girls who act like idiots around men, like the ones forget how to walk or speak in complete sentences, annoy me.
