http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001LNOEHA?&tag=shopwiki-us-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325 I bought a bar of this soap at Central Market in Austin and I must say its the best bar soap ive ever used. Smells incredible and has shea butter which left my dreads feeling extra fluffy. Lathers up really well and considering my city has very hard water didnt leave the nasty residue that dr bronners had been leaving when I used to use it.
Dr. B's leaves my hair feeling...like, I dont know the word for it. but Im sure it was the same feeling for you. not sticky, but something...
like it has residue in it. I live in austin so theoretically it would be quite easy for me to obtain said soap.
Its like 5 bucks and twice the size of bronners bar nothing against bronners though shits tight just with my cities water not appropriate Theres another soap called Austin something or other made their in austin and sold at central market as well they had some nice ones too but the smell of pineapple on this one made me drawn to it more cause I had scored some pineapple trainwreck up there and it was all that was on my mind
Bronners makes my hair feel like your trying to rub rubber and rubber togther, theres like sticky friction when I try and run my hands between them to wash, but I only use water at the moment, the DHHQ and all other soaps I used before gave me crap on my scalp that I'd be scratching by the second day.
I hadnt touched soap until yesterday in about 8 months since i stopped with bronners. Had just been rinsing with water and doing deep cleanse once a month. It seemed to do the trick just made my hair really dry feeling so I saw this soap and im diggin the way my hair feels today not gonna use it much maybe like every 2 weeks just as a nice moistirizer cause the water in my town is really harsh
thanks all. cause i havent used any type of soap or shampoo in like seven days. but my hair isnt greasy at all and have no dandruff=] and ussually i do.
We've all concluded that most shampoo is a corporate conspiracy, designed to make you need it every other freakin' day.
Trick question Z, since you usually smell like doritos and vinegar. Nothing like a good smart ass to blow a statement all out of proportion. Smelling 'good' is pretty subjective, ie; we can tolerate our own farts. And yes, it's partly a conspiracy. Personally, I'd rather smell cow shit than Febreze.
Bubbletonic and sarah I know exactly what you mean!! I;ve tried describing it before and set up a thread about it but the only thing we came up with cause wise was the hard water, and since you guys get it too thats awesome xD well not aweosme that you get it, just aweomse that theres other people who can't describe the rubbery yuckiness xD Its so horrible when I'm in a bad mood and my ocd is driving me crazy, I don't need something that is supposed to make my dreads clean feel like shit!!! I'll defo check that soap out OP, if its more awesome than bonners (minus the hardwater fail) I'll have to knight you king of teh shoaps ^^
i have another question. when applying tea tree oil do i do it while in the shower and just use a drop or so while washing my hair. or should i put a few drops in a bowl of water and wash it like that or rub it in when im out of the shower?
