WHY is it illogical to think WE or REALITY came from nothing?

 

Reality is god.Reality is what is real.There is somthing Real allways and that is God.We on the other hand were not here at one time.We also are blinded by preception but God has the whole picture. That is not logic. That is just saying SOMETHING and holding that its true for no reason.

What if I counter: Reality ALWAYS existed, because reality IS and therefore must have always been. Borrowing from Occam (hipforums): No one has ever seen matter created nor destroyed, therefore with the breadth of human knowledge (which is the only sure thing we are dealing with) my position is infinitely more likely.

Because everything has a point of origin. We simply cannot make something from nothing. Someone once tried to claim that the miracle of birth creates something from nothing, but that's not quite true.

Everyone (at least at some point in time) has or has had 2 parents, one male and one female, one sperm and one egg enjoined. That's not to say that it isn't a miracle that a baby results from its microscopic components, but it certainly isn't something from nothing.
