OK maybe it's not technically a psychadelic but I don't have another forum. I went to the tobacco store and bought a cigar for the first time. It was called Gloria Cubana and cost 7.99. I don't think I knew how to smoke it properly because the first thing I noticed was there was no hole to inhale through! I didn't know if I was supposed to cut one or what but I picked at it a little and it seemed fine. I sat outside smoking that thing for God knows how long, but it took at least an hour to finish. I felt so relaxed and by the time I was done I stood up and felt as dizzy and out of it as if I had just smoked a blunt. I went home and passed out for hours. How about that.
ive heard some tobaco species contain a chemical, i think its called Ni - Cotine. apparently the native americans used it to contact spirits, and it makes lots of people sick. maybe your cigar had some of this shit in it?
The best cigar for a good nicotine buzz is Black and Mild. It's the only tobacco product I've ever smoked more than once, and it will have the fucking room spinning.
lol guys you could have at least kept up the whole Ni-Cotine thing its funny how many people do fall for it
Have you ever heard of the chemical THC? its better than this Ni-Cotine you speak of im sure. Its probably very different. Mary Jane puts it in her flowers naturally.
I put five in my mouth and took a big hit off all of those! That was fun, and I also like Outlaws, they're made by Swisher Sweets. And they were my first cigar ever, and I had it this Halloween!
you get a big fuckin nicotine rush and your breath stinks real bad for quite a while. in my experience. i didnt know you werent meant to inhale. i still dont understand why people smoke em... just for the flavour? fuck that lol
Marijuana is to THC as tobacco is to nicotine. There are myths that the companys put it in there products, it is actually produced by the plant also.
^^ no shit? you mean nicotine really occurs in tobacco?? get out!! umm...so anyway... cigar smoke isn't meant to be inhaled is why. its really strong, makes you sick, and thats not how they're designed to be smoked. you pull the smoke all the way back in your mouth, not inhaling (take a breath first before "hitting" it), and then open up your throat and nose as you blow the smoke out. some smoke goes out the nasal passages, some gets down into the back of your throat, most of it stays in your mouth. nicotine can be absorbed through any mucous membrabne...you know how people chew and snuff tobacco, right? well, a cigar has way way more nicotine in it than a cigarette, and you dont NEED to inhale it to get that nicotine. i can't imagine how anyone could smoke a cigar and inhale and actually finish the damn thing. the nicotine you get is absorbed through the mouth, the nose, and to a lesser extent in the throat. if you smoke the cigar properly, take it slow, and smoke the whole thing, you WILL get your nicotine...sometimes even still a bit more of it than you would with a cigarette, only with a longer, more drawn out process.
cigarettes are inhaled because the contain less tobacco, and tobacco with a lower nicotine content. they got their origin in the early days of smoking, when the americas were "newly discovered" and tobacco was first starting to catch on, but only among the nobles and others that could afford it. tobacco was a status symbol, and cigars were among the favorites. rich folks smoking cigars would tend to toss their cigar butts in the street, and french peasants and other lower class folks would take the tobacco out of the cigar butts and roll "cigarettes" (small cigars) with paper, in order to be able to enjoy tobacco without paying the unaffordable cost of fresh cigars or snuff or chewing tobacco. due to it's lowly origins, the slowness with which cigarette tobacco was developed, and the ease with which you can smoke a cigar or chew or snuff tobacco (in a day when actually inhaling smoke was pretty uncommon most of the time, and many people couldnt or wouldnt do it), cigarettes did not become the main form of tobacco consumption until sometime around the turn of the century (well, the last turn of a century, i guess) in the late 1800s or early 1900s, with the advent of machines which could quickly and cheaply roll cigarettes. they made smoking cheaper, quicker, and more convenient for cigar smokers, and it was, for obvious taste reasons, better for most people than using chew or snuff.
The only cigars I ever smoke are Black & Milds, and they are fine for inhaling. I only smoke them when I'm drunk, but I always inhale the smoke and it gives me a nice little buzz. I have never thrown up from them. I did throw up the first time I smoked a ciger, but it was some nasty ass cheap cigar that was 2 weeks old.
I like rolling my own cigars on occasion (from blunt papers... i.e. wet mango/purple haze). On a side note, it takes forever to smoke a cigar inhaling (Nobody I know can take a bit hit)... and it makes me stinky. I still like them for sexiness. Adding hash is never a bad idea either (open it up, and add small chunks here and there).
