For years I didn't use Fluoride toothpaste, because of the effects that are well known through various research. I was a pretty freaky hippie type for a several years. Now I actually like the system, and I wouldnt want it to change, it's nice having things stable.. I enjoy the mind numbing effects if there are any to taking fluoride in water foods and toothpaste. It might just be my personal preference and as I got older I kind of grew out of it.

Man, you're in here saying that you like having your mind chemically numbed. Don't fucking neg. rep. me for responding sarcastically to that.

Most do. If it doesn't say "none-flouride" it'll have it in.

I doubt you even know what fluoride is, much less read anything about it :p
At least say something smart, not just "Whatever you say" that's a waste

Heh, well, I don't even know how to respond to that. If you look through my posts in this forum, you'll see that I know what fluoride is. I'm not sure what your point is with this, but you should know that neg. repping someone because you think what they said was 'a waste' is retarded. I'm not even going to have a discussion with someone who would do something so juvenile.

So we have to go through everybody's previous posts to see what they think about everything now.
Personally If i don't wish to make a contribution because I've been there and done that...I leave any "new" discussion alone...but that's just me.

For shits and giggles I did a forum search (this time it was easy):
    http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=227031&highlight=flouride&page=7

I ain't doing that for everything and anything, though...who would?

If someone insists on making completely unfounded assumptions about someone else then yes, I would recommend finding out more about the person before posting about it and looking like a berk. No-one said anything about everyone ever. Thankfully there are some sensible people who don't feel they know all about others who they've barely had communications with, nevermind met

Implying that people who question the "system" you refer to and use thier own minds to decide what is good for them are "freaky hippy types." Sad that you caved in about your beliefs for a slight amount of contentedness, that is how the world got so fucked up to begin with. :toetap05:

Certainly not. He claimed I didn't know what fluoride was and had never read anything about it, so I referred him to my previous posts as proof that he was mistaken. I wasn't implying that he should have searched it first, I was more implying that he was being an idiot. Not so subtly, I might add.

I didnt cave in on my beliefs, I expanded on them.

Id like to get into what "using your mind" really means..

I think ultimately the capacity of the human brain is boundless.

So to use your "mind" for one opinion, one
way or the other, is really unimportant.

Say I want to be Catholic, live in the suburbs of the city with my family,
be a Republican.. That kind of thing. Thats only one reality, when all of
my cells are pulsing with the story of humanity and Earth and the Universe.

Than say that numb nuts.. not WHATEVER YOU SAY get a life

    :)

If we changed mind with brain, and we reduced chemicals in our diet that hinders our brains mental process then doesn't that help make it more functional and 'boundless'? :D

Your first post to go back to dates from: 08-08-2009, 03:32.
If you use the forum search facility it is possible to find what you said...
which was basically fuck all to be honest.:D
But you were lucky, sir...there happened to be "Flouride" in the title.
I'm not sure you were aware that your posts (about it) could be found that way.

If you have said something since 08-08-2009, 03:32...who the hell is going to go through a years worth of posts?...and why should they so you can remain on your high horse?...becuase you made throw away comment that you didn't need to make, really.

Life would be simpler if you just didn't say anything, or atleast post something constructive...
You didn't need to come in and say basically nothing...it was kinda childish, IMO.
It would have been easier to say something on topic or just clear off.

So I do think "The Earth" had a point, tbh.
More of a point than you do, imo.

The comment: "I doubt you even know what fluoride is, much less read anything about it :p" ended in :p...it seems like it was a tongue in cheek comment, not a snide remark or condesention...similar to your first comment, perhaps?
I don't know what the tone you were really aiming for.

I think "The Earth" was making a jokey comment (:p)...
But let me just go back over his entire post count to see if he is a a-hole or a joker. BRB...

Whatever. It really isn't important. My original comment was just a sarcastic remark because I thought what the OP said was pretty stupid. I thought it got the point across well enough. This isn't a forum where people are generally overly worried about how 'constructive' every post they make it. It was a sarcastic dig, and I admit that. But the dude should have a bit thicker skin than to respond to it the way he did.

Saying that wouldn't have made much sense at that point, if you follow the conversation chronologically. I apologize if I hurt your feelings, but grown-ups sometimes speak sarcastically to each other. Most of us can handle that.
