i think someones upset ronnie

well, there's the fat cats lie me who've been around forever and for some reason get more respect than i've ever deserved, which forces me to seek out new territory for my masochistic tendencies. there's the mods, who provide a valuable service but still require the occaisional testing to make sure they don't get too complacent or comfortable. there's the people who think and believe things you might never have known about if some anonymous troll type hadn't come along to rattle the cages.

btw, the trolls belong to cliques, too. i've a few in my own, which got me in a tad bit of trouble a while back. don't assume too much about a person.

wow there seems to be some confusion as ronnie originally came from the same ip address I did but what the hell its got to be someone I know, jerking about because I have literally told, what, erm 4 or 5 maybe only 2 or 3 people about hip forum but I provide internet services for small businesses and one of those services is an interface from beyond a firewall basically a proxy server for security purposes only three of my customers go through there so it wont be difficult but Its someone havin a laugh dont worry about it- las the only people it could be are right laughs they arent nasty - I will suss em out and bollock them - next time i have a drink with em I will spike it with a tab of acid

 

That'll be the problem then. If you want to, it might be an idea to PM Skip and let him know the situation, so Ronnie and others on the IP address don't keep getting blocked. I can let him know as well, but it'd be best coming from you....

i dunno. all hissy-fitting aside, i was just trying to make the case for the usefulness of trolls in internet societies like this one.

 

I think kc's right, trolls sometimes have a valuable role to play. RMcD occasionally elicits a chuckle, but he also seems to have this nasty petty vindictive side. I can forgive most things if they're funny, but often ronnie isn't actually very imaginative / funny / creative in his posts. I miss the days of MollyTheHippy! Sheh, comes to something when you're complaining that the trolls aren't what they used to be!
