I turned 30 today! Ahhhhhhhhh!

Feeling a little depressed. Yeah, I am lame, but I don't care. Anyone wanna wish me a Happy Birthday?

It really sucks being alone (without a significant other) on such a big day. Don't get me wrong, I went to the park by myself for a serene walk, went over to my parents house for dinner, and hung out with my son today, so I enjoyed myself a little. I also got my hair cut.

Yeah, when I go to bars/clubs (like for a show...I don't drink), the ID checker ALWAYS does a double-take, and people definitely look befuddled.

I don't smoke either, or buy alcohol, so I fortunately don't have to deal with it too much.

I'll be turning 20 on Friday, and I feel terrible about it. I wish I could have been 18 forever... Well, if anyone asks, I'm still 18 when I'm 43.

i thought late 20's was worse, because i thought it would be a big deal, but it wasn't.

Aging is good because you get more stories to tell, and you get away from that boring college talk that early 20's people do.
