Perhaps we should all cool down and keep in mind that fact that this guy can't control who he's attracted to. There's nothing wrong with being attracted to minors as long as he doesn't act on it. If he's asking for advice on how to act on it, or whether he should act on it, then I agree that he needs help. But just looking doesn't make him a child molester.

the actual definition of pedophilia is attraction to prepubescent minors. if she has already hit puberty, it's only natural for the attraction to be there, not sick. however this would not excuse or minimize any intention of acting on these impulses.

It's okay to be attracted to anyone of any age as long as you don't try to do anything about it. That's all there is to it.

If the guy is thinking about acting on it then I agree: he should get help. But if he's aware that it would be wrong to do so and is not intending to, then I think that's a perfectly sane way to deal with it.

And yeah, I checked out his old posts too. He is a bit of a character...
