I wonder how many hippies this site has killed.

I like how the older adults on this forum just come right out and say "Yeah, I'm a hippie." No one bugs em about it. They've said their part and we accept it.
Yet if we get new young hippies, and they introduce themselves and include the fact that they are hippies, we attack and question them. It's really strange. Maybe its a "pick on someone your own size" issue, but.. It just really, really hit me a few minutes ago and I've decided to bring it up. I hope we havn't scared people off from nurturing their hipness.

 

Aahah... some people just try too damn hard, but I've never tried to kill any.

 

I feel bad though, because they're just trying to relate.

 

i think it was more of the "dance around in a feild", "omg omg omg leik lolz teh beetles r liek so totly leki aesome and r there NE dead fans here, ooo, hippie hippie hippie", and "look at how hippie i am" pepole that YH regulars took stabs at

 

there's a big difference between the older folks and the 11-25 year olds who wear their wannabe-hippieness on their sleeves.

ahaha Trev, I've seen a few time where they weren't all "I am trying waaaaay too hard here." But, a lot of the time, yes, it's that.

I'm not classing anyone. People can class themselves, and I don't give a fuck. I just am sick of how people have treated others on this site.

if someone says they love everyone I will call them on it, either their definition of love is a joke or they just have no idea what loving everyone really means

the most evil and terrible thing you can think of has been done by someone at some point in history, and you either get that or you don't


as for people calling themselves hippies, I was called a hippie by others, I've never been super uber hippie, I'm probably in the same class phylum and hell maybe even the same species (where as 2 dogs may be the same species, but one is a poodle and one is a labradore)

if someone has killed themself because of something I said they were overly high strung in the first place and someone else woulda set them off.
