My parents met in the craziest way. My mom was taking a bike ride through the park around the sea wall when her bike chain fell off, my dad was the nice guy that stopped to help her out. They went for coffee and hit it off. That was years and years ago and i can't help but think about how if her bike chain didnt fall off at that exact moment and place, i would not be here today. I'm actually really really lucky. I better make the most of this life.

Yeah that's a thing focused on in Back to the Future 1 ..... you may have seen it. Great movies. But consider that all of us COULD be someone else. We're just not so we don't know who we could've been.

Unless of course your father had been stalking your mother all along, and her chain falling off was the perfect opportunity to introduce himself and get to know her better

Or when she got off her bike to pee in the bushes he snuck up and rigged her bike so there was no chance of that bike chain falling off or not.

Your dad may be creepier than you know.
