ICE one of my best mates =(

Well one of my close mates has stared takeing ice and not just trying it he been doing it on most weekends n sumtimes durning the weekday. I have been trying to get him off it but he just keeps saying he is fine and its no differnt to weed, now i hav done ice but only 2 times first time was about 6months ago n second was like 1 month ago. Now i can c how ice is so addicvitve the high is just amazeing the rush is so hard and comes on so quick, but just from watching afew videos and seeing all the ice skaters in the city and i dont want my friend
who i have kno for 4years to turn out bad.

I just want him to turn bak to good old MJ

Whats just sum points i could tell him y to stop it.

 

I learned in rehab that if you try to change a person they will only draw farther away from you. Honestly, its a decision that is totally up to him. One way to make an impression on your freind is to have a freind die from ice that he knows....but this isnt something that'll probably happen anytime soon. Really though its extremely hard to get somebdoy off a drug especially if they are just a freind and they think they are alright. My best wishes on getting him off but dont push him too hard at first because he'll just push you away.

 

Good luck. What most likely needs to happen is the ice experience becoming very unpleasant for him on a consistant basis so that he associates it with a bad time, however you may not want to be the one obviously administering the negative experience as he may then gain an aversion to you and not the ice.

True, you can't stop anyone from doing something they enjoy even if it means there life/or worse. My friends try to get me to stop smoking cigs all the time, but just because they tell me how bad it is and I know how bad it is doesn't mean I'm going to quit.

Hate to sounds like this, but you're friend isn't your friend anymore. Not until he's clean. Meth is some NASTY shit, I do hope he gets better, but until he does expect him to do anything - including fuck you over BIGTIME - for a fix.

It got annoying and was too much of a nuisance to use, because it got in the way of all my plans for the NEXT day, whatever they might have been, like work... (Well... I did go throught a lot of shit with it too, but I almost liked the drama, because it was always some far out, crazy shit...)
