hello everyone. here's the deal. im 21, a semester away from graduating college with a useless degree. i don't have the faintest idea of what i want to do with my life. what i do not want is to be one of those people who jumps into a job right after college that they hate. so, im thinking peace corps. but i want to investigate all of the other ideas before i commit to that. what other organizations are out there that grab spolied lazy white kids from their cribs and take them to other countries to do meaningful work that will change them forever?

    cheers

    www.wwoof.org

Through this organization, I spent a few weeks on a farm in Japan in high school. It's fun and cheap. Check it out.

cause.com, and also raleigh international's quite good. I dunno if it'd be 'meaningful' enough for you though, I dont think it's a peace corp, but it's good fun all the same.

I think that's absolutely fantastic that you want to do something meaningful and help others like that. There really needs to be more people in this world like you! It's refreshing to hear someone want to reach out and give of themselves.

    Good luck to you...
