Ideas?

I'm wanting a new tattoo, but for the life of me can't come up with any good ideas. I am thinking on the side of my hand.

I can't think!!!

 

patterns are best for hand tattoos. You seem like the type that would get some sort of native american design. A little bit of color. Browns and purples with a touch of green.

Tribal tattoos are for assholes who try to hard. Celtic knots are good if you're irish.

 

You're thinking of getting a tattoo on the side of your hand? If that's what you meant I'd advise against it. They fade very quickly and often appear patchy, having to be redone often. The back of your hand would probably be better.

 

Yeah, a pattern would be good. A little colour is not too bad.

I'm not into the Tribal thing, too many people have it.

 

well the colors I cited are geared more towards the native american thing.

 

A lot of my friends have hand tattoos and they have been okay. I have a little bat on the bottom of my other hand, he's still doing good

Yeah, that's why I'm struggling to decide! As it will be visible, I want to be completely happy with it. Although, looking on the net is just giving me ideas for other tattoos I could get

my auntie has on her left hand, on the inside side of each finger "love, and, be loved" .. like 'love' is on one finger , 'and' and the other.. etc .. im crap at explaining things!!! but it looks nice

 

I want to get a tat and a possibly an ear piercing for my 60th birthday....And I have no ideas that I am happy with at the moment, but I have some time to decide.
