God is beyond time and space, therefore any riddles having to do with spatial attributes like physical strength are irrelevent.
I wish this "question" would go away forever. It's so stupid to use an illogical statement to try and prove anything. "can god make a circular square?" No, fucktard, because the two things cannot coexist, by definition. If there were an all powerful all knowing god, he'd recognize that fact and not be worried that he can't make one. Try using real arguments and stop asking senseless questions like this.
Hey, I took it as a serious inquiry. Sorry if I offended. Now if you really want to challenge my statement about the nature of God, that's fine. But in your hypthetical, there is a God and your question involves the nature of said diety.
The point you missed: The existence of god is like my riddle. Can not be solved. Can not be known. But is believed. Belief and knowledge are 2 different things. Like the circle rectangle.
That is a very good response. But I would say that the question "can God create a boulder which is too big for him to lift," can be rephrased as: If God is omnipotent, is he capible of creating something which is greater than himself?
By comparing God to human characteristics you are being Anthropomorphic, god is not human. Also If God created the universe he is not controled by it. Its like if we make a box we can stick our arms in and change things but we are not controled by our creation. Therefore God is not controled by such things as the laws of physics etc as he created them and exists beyond them. So such a thing as making a square triange i guess would be possible - not that he would want to ^_^
If God cannot be known, then your question cannot be asked, because it attributes a specific knowledge about the attributes of God.
I like that question more. Still, what qualifies as greatness in regard to God? That question comes first. Greatness is too ambiguous.
You can't really prove or disprove a diety like god, but it sure is fun to come up with the brain-teasers! My burrito question I got from the Simpsons. It stumped Ned =P
