actually, if it's designed to cut tomatoes and is fairly new, then yes it will cut fingers. my tomato slicer at work would most likely not break the skin if i was trying... i have cut myself on a sharp one though, and my friend had to have stitches from the same one, so i know that the possibility of injury is real
Our tomato slicer used to be shitty, but our boss got sick of it, so she sharpened each blade seperately...now it's got finger-slicing potential.
A tomato slicer for commercial use...there's totally a difference between those and home tomato slicers.
home tomato slicer? man, i just use a knife...i'm not up on all this new kitchen fancy gobblygook stuff
They have these goofy little slicer things, I didn't know they existed until ours took a giant crap and died at work, so my boss brought hers up. They're goofy and it only makes slicing tomatoes a tiny fraction easier.
for those who haven't seen a tomato slicer: very similar to the one we have at work, except this one is probably sharp... i never even considered sharpening each blade, i'll just demand a new one from the owner before i do that shit...
*shakes fist* Son of a bitch tomato slicer. Yeah, that's similar to what we have. We tried to get new blades, but they don't make blades for our model anymore. Ancient piece of shit.
