If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

If you could have your dream career, what would it be?

I'm really into music so I think it would be cool if I could be in a famous band, but on an even more down to earth scale, I think it would be the coolest thing to live downtown. Own a record shop, and have your home be on the floor above.

Who would you want to be?

 

I would be a landsdscape gardener/designer...Nice interesting creative work...Working outdoors...I actually studied landscape gardening a long time ago but due to difficult circumstances I had to give it up.I have worked as a gardener though but it can be backbreaking work,especially weeding all day...

I have always wanted to own my own record/music shop since I was a kid. I as well am very into music. I think it would be awesome to live above or below property too. I would like to have enough building though to have the store one one side & on the the other have an open space to fit a stage 4 the locals to come play have a small bar included & maybe a few pool tables

 

I would like to open a really cool cafe/bar where people could hang out...Something different...People could play music and computer games...New bands could do afternoon gigs...There would be secondhand books and cd's for people to buy...Cabaret and stand-up...Art exhibitions on the walls...This has been my dream for a long time.

Not necessarily. I worked in hotels for years and every hotel I worked at, the owners were insanely busy. Something always breaking or needing to call someone in.

I guess if you were like Hilton, that would be different-the guy has so much money that he just has a guy for everything.

My dream job would be (now that I've realized what my passion in life is) to have acres of land with greenhouses-all growing herbs and fresh produce year-round. And in the front of my property, have a little storefront/office where I sell herbs and herbal concoctions and veggies and things to heal the soul

Don't even think they properly exist now, its all machines. Damn, I'd give anything to have my own dusty workshop, open hot coal burning and tonnes or scrap metal to melt, mould, bend and twist into something new!!!

interpreter/escort for movie-star or celebrity clientele in Japan. I don't sit in a desk and translate or transcribe boring documents. I get to basically use my people skills, work in a moving, human enrironment, and just show some rich sap around japan as I interperet stuff for him to the amazement of the japanese people around. :afro:

 

I already do my favorite work - but it doesn't pay enough to live on. I teach sewing classes - but I don't have much of a following. Plus I would like to earn money selling quilts that I make - but that too is easier said than done.The cost of the materials and the time spent making quilts - well, you can't charge enough to compensate esp. for the labor. But I do earn enough with the classes to buy my supplies - or a part of the supplies.

 

I'd love to make and sell clothes and jewelry. Maybe own a little headshop. I'd be very happy, though, if our home business would take off and I could sit at home and book appointments and collect money. lol
