No, because God is, to me, an energy, not an entity.

no, because if you could even find a lawyer to take the case, a HUGE retainer would be required.

A little while back, I pitched this idea as the premise for a film.

    Nobody was interested.

I would. Not because 'he' has done me wrong. I would just like to see how rich the guy really is.

Exactly. Stop placing the blame on everyone else and start accepting responsibility for yourselves!

I'd be interested in that! In fact, I'd like to give a crack at writing it!

Wouldn't do it, as God is not a Person, but an energy that we all are a part of.

As a relevant side note, a senator in Nebraska (I think?) actually DID sue God.. I don't remember why he did that, I think to prove some point....
But it was pretty hilarious. [IMG]

what could/would 'god' pay you as reperations, that it couldn't/wouldn't nullify any bennifit of? maybe to get off your back and stay off of it, maybe, but that's about all i can think of.

i mean, while it makes sense, even essential sense, to hold every awairness accountable for its own actions, just how much would god or a god, have actually had to do with, whatever might be the basis of such a suit?

i think those are a couple of essential quesitons here.

now if i thought there were any substance to the whole devil god conflict thing, then i think satan might have grounds to sue on breach of contract, but that whole thing is rediculous and has nothing to do with anything i imagine as to how anything works or exists. i mean its in no way supported by anything i can observe. have even observed subjectively with my gut, with how anything has ever seemed or felt to me.

nor is the existence of any kind of 'demonic force' for that matter.

even god, though something, or something close enough to call one, is something i have felt the presence of, is not something that anything i have observed otherwise as being required. just not required to not be either.

i can think of a lot of things it might be nice for a god, or something god-like to give me, and i even think that i might just actually be able to be responsible with them, but suing is like rape, whatever you get out of it, there is a high probability of making enimies you would probably really rather have for friends.

there are exceptions of course, there are intrests, often economic interests, as well as political ones, that need to be brought and held to account, but i think most of what we'd like to blame god for screwing up, are pretty much things we have all togather, often without giving much thought to the actual mechanisms of doing so involved, done with our own mortal hands, if collectively rather then by individual choice.

No offense, but this is really dumb question. Just because people fuck up things for themselves doesn't mean we need to blame and sue someone else for it.

I personally don't believe in god, but if i did, i don't believe that i would blame or sue him/her for the problems that i have or other people have had because we make up our own destiny and people need to understand that god is sorta like the fallout guy for all the bullshit happening in the world. we can'r blame everything on everyone else, we have to just see things for the way that things really are.
