I once had a job removing the testicals from laboratory cats. I hated that job. But that $5.40 an hour bought diapers and formula and such. I am an Ordained Minister. Jesus died, didn't you read the book? A healer is probably next on my list. We all need to find a person to offer healthy (down with poisons, if I wouldn't put it on me why would I want to put it in me?) alternatives to help us with our aches and pains.

i'm happy the polls are working again and this time it took my vote.

anyway, yah, i wouldn't mind waking up an architect/regeonal/alternative trasnportation network and tecnology planer/designer, or some sort of science lab assistant, OTHER then medical or bio, the stress of that kind of responsibility i've always been paranoid of having to deal with, which is big part of what has kept me out of those kinds of professions. i wouldn't even mind having become some kind of musician. for the most part, with art though, and i'm not saying anything against anyone who does actually make a living at it, well i just feel, see, think, in terms of a different kind of economy the most people are familiar with or has likely been tried, however close it might sound like or be misrepresented as sounding like some of the things that have, anyway, pictorial representations of real alternative possibilities, i do make those, not quite as well or easily as i would like, but feel more motivated to try and give them away to try and attempt to depict the kind of world i would rather be living in, so that i do anyway, but not for money or trying to live off of.

there was a series of stories in analog back in the late 70s/early to mid 80s, somewhere in there, about i guy called willey the joat (j.o.a.t. = jack of all trades) which i really related to the way he lived. basicly what he was was an interdiciplinary consultant, which meant half the time he starved, but when someone was needed who could see and put things togather from a variety of proffessional diciplines that someone specialized completely or even primarily into only one or at not the combination of many that he had, needed someone who could, then like that guy from the mystry genre with his 50% finders fee, well he made enough that way to make it through the rest of the time, and when he wasn't on contract somewhere, i was able to get away with living like the kind of high tec hermit i wish i could find a way that i could.

i do have a bit of a diversity of backgrounds, but not a lot of experience using the math skills something like that would probably really take, or at least real sciences really take, though without them i can still find/see a lot of solutions by imagineering and seat of the pants concept intigration. and can of course leggo block tecnology systems. (of which i'd be doing a hell of lot of for myself if more of the fiddly bits were things i could legaly get my hands on for free)

    =^^=
